Merry Christmas!!

Well, it’s that time of year again. The shopping frenzy has already started.  It’s fun to watch, and I admit I take part in it myself. The holiday decorations around town and in the stores are beautiful to look at and make the atmosphere so much more festive. I hope and pray you have a good Christmas this year if you celebrate this holiday, and that God will bless you and your family or friends.

The celebrating is great, but I pray you will take time to think about the reason for all the festivities, the birth of the living God Jesus into this world in order to die for us and save us. He’s so beautiful!! I never had anybody else ever die for me. I pray God will bless you.

A Dream

I had the most beautiful dream last night. I was standing in the front yard of the house I grew up in and looked up toward the sky. It was night, and the sky was dark, but I could see stars, stars, stars everywhere. Millions, billions, trillions of them filled the night sky, and flying among them were angels everywhere. They were swooshing and flying and zipping everywhere. They were laughing, smiling and full of so much joy. It was one of the most beautiful dreams I’ve ever had. It left me smiling. The joy was everywhere!

If a dream can be this beautiful what will the real thing be like? Can’t imagine but it will be worth any struggle or pain you’re having in order to follow Christ!!

Funky

jesusgirlholyspirit1

Got up this morning feeling so funky. Is that a word? I don’t know but I’ll use it anyway!

I had so many negatives in my life. Life for me started out in hell. I have had times in my life when it felt like the only love I had in my life was that of a dead carpenter hanging on a cross a little over 2000 years ago. So I got up having to struggle with all the same old negatives I’m so tired of. Then I got on twitter and read some of the scriptures and things that some of the Christians write on there, and it lifted me up.

Christ really does love you, and the Holy Spirit does want to lift you above all of life’s pains. We’re supposed to become a new creation, but we have to let him have 100% of ourselves. I pray you can come to know the beautiful Savior who loves you more than anyone else ever will!!! Praise God.

One Cell!!

It always amazes me how people can think this world created itself or happened just by chance. I worked in the sciences. I was a type of laboratory technologist, basically sat and studied cell samples all day looking for abnormal cells. If everyone could see how complex and highly organized just one cell in your body is, and you are made up of trillions of them!! You are a walking miracle.36020001-cells-under-microscope

A universe in chaos can create order. Chaos only creates chaos, and disorder only creates disorder.

Only an intelligence could have created this beautiful, highly complex and organized planet we live on. It truly had to be a In the beginning God created. Nothing else makes logical sense to me! I pray you can come to know the love that is God himself.

Royal Family!

God-the-Father-Jehovah

Before I got up this morning from bed, I couldn’t get the thought out of my head that God is my father. If you are a believer in Jesus of Nazareth, Christ, you are accepted as a child of the only real living king there is, God of the Old and New Testaments, Creator of everything. As it says we are a royal priesthood, but I am now a princess and every son is a prince. Praise God!!  I still cannot get over the fact that someone as powerful as He is, that can create something trillions of miles tall such as the Pillars of Creation wants and loves me. It just is sometimes overwhelming. I pray you will have a holy and blessed day.

Hubble Goes High Def to Revisit the Iconic 'Pillars of Creation'
NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope has revisited the famous Pillars of Creation, revealing a sharper and wider view of the structures in this visible-light image. Astronomers combined several Hubble exposures to assemble the wider view. The towering pillars are about 5 light-years tall. The dark, finger-like feature at bottom right may be a smaller version of the giant pillars. The new image was taken with Hubble’s versatile and sharp-eyed Wide Field Camera 3. The pillars are bathed in the blistering ultraviolet light from a grouping of young, massive stars located off the top of the image. Streamers of gas can be seen bleeding off the pillars as the intense radiation heats and evaporates it into space. Denser regions of the pillars are shadowing material beneath them from the powerful radiation. Stars are being born deep inside the pillars, which are made of cold hydrogen gas laced with dust. The pillars are part of a small region of the Eagle Nebula, a vast star-forming region 6,500 light-years from Earth. The colors in the image highlight emission from several chemical elements. Oxygen emission is blue, sulfur is orange, and hydrogen and nitrogen are green. Object Names: M16, Eagle Nebula, NGC 6611 Image Type: Astronomical Credit: NASA, ESA, and the Hubble Heritage Team (STScI/AURA)

Colorful Trees of Fall

DSCN1212

I just could not resist it so I took out my cheap little camera and went to get photos of some of the trees around us. This is the prettiest they have been and the first sunny day I could get got shots. Had to hurry and get the pictures before the rains set in and knocked all the leaves off of them!! Hope you enjoy them and that you get to enjoy the fall weather. May God bless your day.
