Christ is our Rock and only Savior. He is the love and joy that everyone longs for and that can be found nowhere else. Praise God for his goodness in sending Christ our way. The Holy Spirit is the guide we need and the only one we truly have to get us back into the relationship we were always meant to have with our Creator Lord. Praise God for sending us His Spirit to meet our needs.

In order to know a full, right relationship with God and Christ, we have to let the Holy Spirit have full control of us so that it is not I that liveth  but Christ that liveth in me. The apostle Paul was right. All he did was done through the power of the Holy Spirit. No man could have endured all the hardships he went through without the help of God. I can do all things through Christ(and his Spirit) who strengths me.

I agree with Billy Graham(written in one of his books about the Holy Spirit) and Watchman Nee in his writings. Until you crucify your old man, kill your old nature and self, on that cross of Christ, no human will get to know the full power of the living Spirit of God. We will never do that perfectly, but we should struggle every day to let the Holy Spirit live inside of us.

The cross was meant to give us a second chance at life, to right a relationship gone wrong when in that Garden of Eden we spit in God’s face and said, No, I want to do it my way and rebelled against our gracious, loving Creator. We have to give His Spirit control of our lives as best we can.

Christ through His Spirit can give us more joy, peace and love than anything down here.  There is no amount of money, power, ego, material possessions or sex that satisfies the way He does. It is the truth, not a spiritual myth or something that will happen only after you die. It can be for you, right now, today.

It does not necessarily mean he will change your circumstances, only that He can give you the joy of His presence in the middle of this garbage this world can throw at you. Won’t you turn to Him today before today no longer exists? He loves you more than you can even begin to imagine.

I came into the world as one of the least of the least—an orphan, unloved and unwanted by anybody—-except by Christ and His Holy Father. My earliest memories are only of fear and terror and extreme emotional pain and hopelessness. But, and it is a big but, somehow God reached down for me. I was blessed. As a young child, I can remember laying down in the grass and somehow feeling a presence with me in the sky above. As my life unfolded, bad times come to everyone, I realize now it was the presence of the Holy Spirit of the Living God that was giving me comfort. I have seen days when I felt the only love I had was the love of a dying carpenter hung on a cross over 2000 years ago. I was semi-suicidal at the age of 17!

But that presence stayed with me and when the darkness came for me as well, somehow I knew to look up and there He was in all of his glory and power. I love the words in Joshua and Hebrews that say ‘Never will I leave you, Never will I forsake you. Christ is my rock and my hope. I pray He can be yours as well

It’s true what David’s Psalm 8 says ‘You have set your glory in the heavens’.

Just go to pictures taken by the Hubble telescope to see the wonders and majesty of God’s created universe. The first few pictures below are of the Pillars of Creation in the Eagle nebula. They are the birthplace of stars formed out of their gases and dust. Around 20 trillion miles in height and 7000 light years from our home, Earth, they’re only one example of God’s overwhelming and staggering power. Below them are even more examples of his creativity.

So don’t make your God small. It still amazes me that someone so large and powerful wants to love me, but He does. He wants to come and live with me and anyone who wants to believe and be blessed by all His glory and power. So let Him with all His beauty into your life today! You will not live to regret it. May He bless you life today!

NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope has revisited the famous Pillars of Creation, revealing a sharper and wider view of the structures in this visible-light image. Astronomers combined several Hubble exposures to assemble the wider view. The towering pillars are about 5 light-years tall. The dark, finger-like feature at bottom right may be a smaller version of the giant pillars. The new image was taken with Hubble’s versatile and sharp-eyed Wide Field Camera 3. The pillars are bathed in the blistering ultraviolet light from a grouping of young, massive stars located off the top of the image. Streamers of gas can be seen bleeding off the pillars as the intense radiation heats and evaporates it into space. Denser regions of the pillars are shadowing material beneath them from the powerful radiation. Stars are being born deep inside the pillars, which are made of cold hydrogen gas laced with dust. The pillars are part of a small region of the Eagle Nebula, a vast star-forming region 6,500 light-years from Earth. The colors in the image highlight emission from several chemical elements. Oxygen emission is blue, sulfur is orange, and hydrogen and nitrogen are green. He says he will come back with his angels in all his full glory, power and beauty. For all believers it will be a day of unspeakable joy to be united with someone of unequaled love, mercy and compassion! No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind can imagine the things God has in store for those who love Him.!!

God is not going to protect you from all the problems of this world or stop you from suffering pain, but He will be there in the middle of all of it. He will go through it with you and help you. I know for sure He has helped me with major, major issues, abuse, cancer. By allowing you to suffer, He not only tests your faith, but it’s His way of showing His power over everything, including your pain. He wants to show the world through your life that there is a God in Israel.

I like Psalm 27. The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid?

I was an orphan from birth this part really appealed to me —Though my mother and father forsake me, the Lord will receive me.

So you may have to suffer but you will never have to do it alone.

I don’t know why churches try to make ‘church’ so hard. We have taken something meant to be simple and made it so hard. Three of the most beautiful words in the Bible are 1st John 4:16 God is love. Christ himself said Love the Lord thy God with all your heart, mind and strength and love your neighbor as yourself. For this sums up all of the law and the prophets.

I don’t know why churches overcomplicate things. We have over institutionalized it, over legalized it. Want to be Christ to the world. Just go out and love it!!
