7 Fatal Flaws of Moral Relativism — Help Me Believe

Here is a good article that exposes moral relativism as self-defeating. Of course, I do not agree with the “divine command theory” approach to morality that is proposed by the author, but the critique of moral relativism was worth sharing. The seven fatal flaws of moral relativism | Wintery Knight

Beauty!!

Beauty
Before beginnings
Of time, space, energy
Matter
Only heavenly ecstasies
Existed

Even so You decided
To create
Your own eternity
Written
In fleshly forms

After You spoke
Light appeared
Your breath touched the
Ground
Dust arose and we
Walked

Up, rise up
Live, enjoy my
Presence
Stay within my boundaries
Of love

Then time shattered
As we rejected You,
Rebelled,
Lost our place in
Your paradise
But

You were not finished
With us
You came, died
Took our place
On that cross
So a waiting universe,
holding its Breath,
could see
Your Beauty

May God Bless Your Day. Praise God!!

Revival!!

Revival #2

Shivers, down
My spine, back of
The body
Starting slowly
Gently
Only quivers at first.

Words whispered
Unseen, out of air
Into my empty ears
Beginnings of
Heart songs of Paradise

I have known you
From days of old,
My youth
Felt your presence
Only a skin’s depth
Away in a blue sky.

Power unseen but
Spirit felt
Always on the move
Looking, seeking
To save & bring home
Every lost child

Your voice speaks
At first, then roaring
Coaxing, next pushing,
Bring in the rest
This may be our test
We are not the only ones,
Alone here in His love

Beginnings, urgings
From above, a fire,
Slow trickles at first
Then a volcano trembling
Desiring, waiting to explode
To give us what we need
If we will only implant our desires
within its will

Waiting to create a deep
Burning, this passion,
Within the chest and soul
To become what
He died for,
A Holy family

Lost ones restored to
Spread, tell,
His story of rebirth
Placed once again
Within His womb
Of Love

So, let us be
Different, from
An insane world
Leaning only on
Its own bleak weakness to survive

I pray for Revival in the American churches. Praise God!!

God Declares You A Winner! — Pure Glory

by Hazel Straub If you don’t quit, you win. Some give up and refuse to continue, due to the false belief that it is too hard. Also they fail to press into God and rely on his strength. When you fall, get back up and keep going. Persist, listen to and believe God’s promises. Do […]

Wondrous December!!

Couldn’t resist a poem for the first day of the month of December, Christ’s birth month. Praise God!!

Wondrous Night

Wondrous night
Holy Night
Twinkle of a star
Led men to the
Wonder of a king’s
Bed and might

Sleeping in a barn
A stall
Filled with animal
Wetness and breath
Holiness to save us all

That star still shining
Calls us home
Dulled now by lights
Man-made and hung
Without thought for the one
who saves us from being alone

In the darkness
Raise your head
Look upward to a star
Which still points
To the One who left
A Throne to lie in that bed

Of straw and poverty
Of pain and a torturous death
He loved until his heart
Broke, stopped
Returning home but not until
He gave His final breath

For us, you and I
Do not forget
Look up still to see
A King enthroned
In glory, above that star
Whose life and death
paid your final dark debt
