Light
Beams, thick shafts
This light
So clear, illuminating
The air
Around me

Enclosed, surrounded
In the middle
I stand
Inside this pure essence
Of light

I look to see, observe
feel
Raise a hand
I too am made
Of light

Mingling, becoming,
Blending
Transfixed, held by,
Composed of the
ephemeral Light

From overhead.
Until
I join, melt into
The material falling
From above

No longer separate,
Joined now,
Together with,
No longer the I
Of me

Only the us
Of we, together
I stand
Within the essence of
You

Every human on this planet has an inner need to be joined with our Creator. We are made of the same eternal spiritual material as our Father. We get ourselves into trouble when we go trying to meet that need in the wrong places: sex, alcohol, drugs, ego, temporary pleasure. Only a close, intimate relationship with Him can give the fulfillment, joy and contentment that only He can give. Praise God!!

Floating, hair caressing water’s top
And my cheek
In waters,
Colors of gold, orange, silver veins
Multi-hues of your peace, joy, love
Beauty able to be restrained only by the
Non-limits of infinity

Colors pour, wash across your face
Delineating every detail,
as liquids flow down one cheek,
you smile,
leaving me to know it was worth it all

each teardrop, struggle, arrow from
a now-defeated enemy, nothing
compares to this Paradise of Your Glory

none of our weak efforts to describe,
no music, artwork, poem, prose to tell
came one milliliter within
the mark of describing Yourself

Unlimited, uncreated, only You decide,
Form your thoughts, wishes, desires,
Love unlimited, Perfection non-existent
Outside of Yourself

Our job is to watch, stare, take pleasure
In You, a universe awash in Beauty
And worship, reflect your infinitude
back to others surrounding us,
Pulsating, throbbing with your life,
Created from Your desire to share this energy,
Beauty of Unending Life!!

God is not small and wants to give us Himself and His Paradise. Live for that. Let Christ direct your life into Himself and His Love, Joy, Peace for you and this world! Praise God!! May He bless your day!!

Rebirth

Rebirth
It tears at my flesh,
My soul is reborn
Into a world of light.
No more running out of the night.

I thank you Gracious Lord again
For this glory of new life.
It runs downhill and up
In endless joyful flight!

I’ve talked before about dreams God has given me in the past. They’re always so vivid in color and details and so beautiful. I had another one a few nights ago. I was walking with Jesus down a street, and the sense of joy was so overwhelming. He was sharing His joy with me. It was fantastic. Always is. Anyway, we were walking down the street. I had sort of blondish hair, my hair is naturally dark although at my age I’m almost completely grey, and I was dressed very casually, more bohemian. We were walking down the street. People were walking by, and we were just sharing His joy with them, talking to them. It was a great dream.
My resolution for the beginning of this new year is to be reborn. The type of rebirth that Christ told Nicodemus about, to be born of water and the Spirit. I feel a need for this. I was born into darkness from which He has saved me. I pray you could get to know your Savior better this year also. He really is fantastic, beautiful and loves you so overwhelmingly! In Christ’s name Amen. Praise God!!
