10 Reasons to Accept the Resurrection of Jesus as a Historical Fact — Help Me Believe

Can historical study uncover the miraculous? Some say no. But as we study ancient historiography, we do arrive at a set of “bedrock facts”. These are facts that, although they are not known with 100% certainty, most scholars agree on. There are a set of historical “bedrock facts” that scholars agree on that can be […]

Name that Conquers All

According to my adoption records I was a sensitive child. I once had an elder of a church say he thought I was a spiritually sensitive person. I know it has been a blessing in my life. I know in this world, especially in our very wealthy, money oriented culture that is so in love with ourselves, money, possessions, and pleasure, we have a tendency to deny or neglect the spiritual aspects of our lives. We are truly spirits only temporarily connected to our physical shell.

I have had several supernatural experiences, and what I guess I’m trying to lead up to is I have had three encounters with demons, very dark creatures.

The first happened many years ago when I was going through a very dark time in my life but trying to draw closer to Christ and God and the Holy Spirit. I woke up one night and…

The Cutting Edge — Pure Glory

by Apostle Gabriel Cross If you desire to remain on the CUTTING EDGE of what Yahweh is saying, you must be willing to remain on the CUTTING TABLE, of what Yahweh is doing…(the true prophetic). Cut everything out of me, Lord, unlike you. Sever it with the sword of your word, pierce my heart with […]

The S Word

artforSWord

We hear a lot today about Relative Morality. The goodness or badness of your behavior is only relative to what you think or feel it should be. There is no longer for a lot of people a universal morality—no general idea of good or evil. So therefore, could we conclude that people are all okay no matter how they act?

In our culture in the U.S., one of the S words, sin, has just about been taken out of existence, sadly, even in a lot of our churches. Some churches just say God loves you and wants to bless you which is true. But they forget He is a god of justice and is also our truest judge. This world belongs to Him.

1 John 8 says If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. Later in verse 10 is stated If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. 1 John 2:2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

God is not stupid. If there had not been a powerful need for Jesus to die on that cross, God would not have sent Him to earth to suffer through such a horrific death. We are simply put impure sinners unable to perfect and save ourselves. We are overwhelmingly blessed that someone as beautiful, perfectly pure and wonderful as our Creator wants to loves us as much as He does. May God bless your day. Praise God!!

We Dream

We Dream

This dream, only a sigh,
Imperfect as of yet on
this side of the waters,
we stand waiting,
to be departed,
Soon, but hoping not too soon
until we finish the singing of this life’s song.

Obliterate my senses, my knowledge
So I no longer feel, see, taste,
In order to forget this world.
We dream, long, lust for
That other side of the water,
That other shore whose name,
As of yet, only Whispers
within my heart.

We dream a dream unseen but
Felt
inside, this hidden glory.
We speak of and seek for this
Our never-ending story.

May God bless your day!

Ownership

world-in-his-hands

The world and universe belong to our Beautiful, Wonderful Creator, the living God. He owns every atom, every molecule, every square inch, every heartbeat and every breath on its surface. We own nothing. We are just temporarily using His stuff. We have only an artificial, man-made system of ownership which tries to keep us from stealing from each other. God even owns us. It doesn’t matter whether we like it or not.

John the Baptist said He(God) can raise up sons of Abraham from the stones. He is in control of everything. Fortunately for us, He loves us completely even to the point of taking the punishment that should have been ours upon Himself. Spend time in His scriptures to get to know Him better. He wants to meet you there and spend time with you. Praise God and may He bless your week!!
