A roaring lion
Looking for someone
To devour

darkness flees
before Him
so, do not let
the dark one
use his greatest
weapon,
for you not
to believe
he exists

Deep, velvet blackness
Is all I can see
Then a spiral
Clouds of purest white
Appear in a distance
I give only a glance
Then it happens

Blinding light envelops
My breath I cannot keep
I feel your power
Why for me this shower?
Glory on display
Brighter than any sun’s day
Rainbow colors
Bright hues
Dance, move madly
Dancing to their own tunes
I try to turn away
But by your hand I am stayed
I take a second Glimpse so brief
But suddenly I am released
And I am back
Inside my body
Thrust back into my world
I have been hurled
Back into the merely physical
But Oh, the glory I did see!
Such other worldly beauty
Of all strife and pain is free!

Hope, unseen but felt
Faith—it’s the strength of our earth
Where God and man meet
Self
Self is an illusion
Selfishness a greater tragedy
I am an extension,
Imprinted with and by
Someone Else.
Created in another’s image
Given some of His attributes
Living in His pleasure
I reach out my hand
And return to the one
I came from.
Death is a release
from my separation
From my Creator/God
This, my Yahweh.

Is all I can say
For this we live
Should struggle toward
So, at the end of each day
Lay down at night
Having done our job
Trying to become
More like our God

Father, Spirit & Son
Perfection on display
Love, joy, peace
There truly is a way
To be just like them
this battle we can win
if we will just give in
submit the will to His
Believers, his family,
Meant to be together
Forever
To live in total unity

Never meant to be divided
Split, apart
Satan has blindsided
Our hearts
Do not believe
There is no remedy
For what we are today
Believe everything He may say
One Spirit, One Father, One Son
