Get down on your knees Oh broken, lost world As the KING of GLORY Passes by May I hear an Audible sigh?
Or maybe not Because Of one thing I fear, We forgot
Coming from so many Pulpits of today Of a very large influence Are words. . . Jesus loves you But of the same pursuance Should be JESUS IS LORD, MASTER, KING! Of these facts should be A total congruence!!!!
So many spiritual leaders Heard today Strip Christ and the Father Of their AUTHORITY Their POWER Over this earth This planet We currently inhabit This world This large, glowing Revolving green pearl
For only this world's Creator King Has the right to command His creation Of this fact the teachers should Not forget nor shun It leaves their listeners Without the correct information
So, put God and Christ Back on our heart's throne And take ourselves off For in life, There is at least still One sure thing He is our most gracious, Compassionate, loving, But ALMIGHTY KING!!
My slate wiped Clean Of everything I Have done selfishly Everything mean And By what you say? Christ's Holy, Pure Blood
On an ancient hill called Calvary Put forth for Every living, breathing Creature to see The God-man hung From spikes in hands And feet His love-filled Blood Staining the ground
So with only from His lips a few Sounds His Pure, Holy Blood Did encircle, surround His earth For all eternity, All time Certainly not yours And never mine
It was only Him Our King, Lord, Creator Savior Joined with the Holy Father That made the plan Only His Blood Strong, pure, clean Enough To save corrupted Man
So next time you're Feeling grateful Get down on your knees Thank Christ for that Day most fateful For there was no other Blood That could have done The job Rescued us from our Blackened sin And Brought us back home To our generously forgiving GOD!
I feel I need more clarity
Today indeed a rarity
In a broken world of chaos
Into which everyday are tossed
Wild words of confusion
Oh, my poor brain!
Too many harsh contusions!
Perhaps if I read the book again
Over & over, from end to end
Maybe these dark clouds
My lack of understanding
It's sweetest words would surely rend
I hope this will bring you closer
My dearest Savior
And I will try to return the favor
To go out
And with a happy shout
Inform the others
Make new sisters, brothers
Before it's too late
Because on some as yet
Unknown date
At our world’s end
Sealed will be everyone’s fate
As into His eternity
All of us will God send

Someone who rides
Among the stars
On wings of the wind
Who has the power to transcend
Both time and space
From out whose face
Energy, heat, light, His Glory
Gush, pour out from
Are so easily traced
This beautiful Someone
From His golden throne
This Perfectly Holy Son
Wants to love us
Plural of the you and me
Sometimes as I sigh
I ask the question, WHY?
I look at our past
Track record
A history full of so
Many great transgressions
Committed most openly
With such small amounts
of discretion
Rebellion written on our skin
All done just to get our own way,
Some selfish lust to win
Destroying life, this has
To be the truest form of sin
But Christ chose to love
Us anyway
Never stops
Morning, night of every day
Praise God for that!
For He cannot go against
His own nature
And so
In an amazing act of pure
Salvation
Left His Glory's throne
His walks among the stars
To die for His created man
And now on His own hands
Still bears the ugliest of scars
Distracted
I turn my head
from side to side
Distracted
I sigh
There must be a better
Reason
Than this
For which I exist
Perhaps I should
Just desist
From all these
Distractions
To buy, buy
Consume, consume
I think I just want
To leave this room
Too many distractions
All these man-made
Contraptions
Most only man-made junk
They buzz, they whirl,
They even clunk
I think I am at last sunk
From the pile, my stash
Boy, on it,
I've lost a pile of cash
Until a still, small voice
Whispers into my inner ear
I'm just right here
Do not fear
For your life
I can give a better purpose
From this chaotic
3 ring circus
I created you to share
In me
My great beauty
My love
From heaven's gates
Is falling
A higher calling
Meant for everyone
In my great name
Must you follow
Let go of those deceptions
Distractions so hollow
Let me be your only God
As upon this earth
Will you so briefly trod
Until I call you back to myself
So listen to that quiet voice
It comes from only me
Still trying to get you to see
You were created to be
Forever with me
The one true lover
