Roaring of the Seas

Roaring of The Seas

This was never meant to be
This raging, crashing roaring of the sea
Foaming waves of so much disharmony
Meant were we herein to forever see
Only the calming ripples of the gentlest of peace

But
As it seems to inevitably come thru man
A rankling, stirring of our calm waters occurred
By a troubled, darkened wind were they stirred
At once, a rising discord by all was heard
& our peace to that moving storm did fall, defer

Until
One day almost unannounced a calming hand
Reached down into all the chaos so unplanned
A Christ, Messiah, Lord, Son of Man
Came to walk upon our troubled shores
To break the back of that satan’s discord

Touching,
With only one finger calmly did He come to restore
His original peace by His blood was freely outpoured
And returned to us was the complete & holy cord
Of our God’s Love
And,
Forever restored
The stilled waters to the course of each eternal soul!

Stools of Do Nothing!

Stools of Do Nothing!

In this country, USofA,
Not all,
But many
Who claim
To carry
Christ’s name
Do Nothing

We enjoy our
Comforts
As we stroll,
Cavort,
In our prosperity
As glaringly
Evil grows, rises
Stronger

We have not stood against
satan’s darkness
He stands in jest
Of our spiritual weakness
Apathy
As all around we see
Our culture deteriorates

It is time to
Gird our loins
As of old
As the ancient
Book has told
Dress ourselves
In God’s Protective Armor
For the battle
Does rage
Each & every day

If suffer we must
To carry Christ’s name
Then suffer we should
To protect all that is good
All good things flow
From the Father
Of the heavenly lights
It is time for Christ’s
American church to
Join in the fight!!

Hunger

Hunger

That hunger
Pushing, driving
Telling me
Something is wrong
So strong,

No matter how much
Of the world I ingest
Still somehow lingers
Distrust
Still I need,
Long for
At times I know now what

So, I continue
To eat from the world
Each of every day’s
Beginning & end
Searching, taking in

Until I say no more
I will buy no longer
From your unlimited store
Of meaningless things

Then I stand, still
And realize
That you lie
This world will
Never completely
Satisfy

Reach up
Search for God’s face
His unending grace
Only that love will
Fill up, supply
Those inner recesses
Now threatening to die
From a world’s wearying
Provision
Oh, Lord,
Help me to make
A better decision!

Quietly Soft but Deadly

Quietly Soft but Deadly

It may start,
(for most it does)
Quietly & softly
In the heart
Deception
Seeking reception
Into your innermost recesses
This will be your greatest test

Large numbers
Consciences so burned
They will not recognize
So it will quickly seize
Its chance to take hold

satan will try to sneak in
a foothold he lusts to win
Evil hoping to replace
The least little taste
Of Christ’s lovely perfection

The darkness says
Christ does not exist
But the strongest weapon yet
In its arsenal
To persuade you satan
Does not exist

This you must do
Go to any lengths
Use all your own
& lean on the always there
Of Christ’s strength!!

He Bends

He Bends

God knows every hair
On every head
Counts each green leaf
On every budding tree
Every sandy kernel on every beach
He bends to fill within His
Almighty hands

Feels every heart’s beat
& when each one does cease
And we at last rest in eternity’s sleep
Treasuring each soul in
The palm of His hand
Wanting each to reach up
And return to His promised land

So tell me not
God is no longer Almighty
This is a lie formed within
Only a demon’s heart
In Jesus’ name I command
Such thoughts to depart
For in my own spirit He has
Come to shine
Too totally & completely brightly!
