No One

There is no one,
No not one
On the face of this green planet
Who does not need 
The One and only Son

A living, breathing
Beyond words All-powerful
Beautiful, Lord, Master,
The only GOD
Ready at any time
Us inside to displace
(Notice I did not say erase)

He will fill you with Himself
So you may have a forever life
Not to end up so bereft
Not following a broken world
Spiraling toward its own
Darker death

So let Christ in
For you He only wants to win
His Eternity's Paradise
It is an honor, privilege
To carry out 
Into His creation
Of His love a small slice 

Making His world
A place more peaceful
So much calmer
For you, this will be
At all no bother

Making yourself able to say
Not I that lives but Christ
Helping others give to themselves
A richer world full of
Much, much better days!

The Reason!

The Reason

A political chaos,
A mess,
Rages outside our doors
Seeming louder, louder
More and more

But is it the real issue
Really the Problem?
Or is there something
Penetrating deeper
into each home
Down into the 
Marrow of our bones?

Chaos, pain
The symptoms
Of a general sickness
Not just in this country
Worldwide a plague is this
Screaming, howling,
An everyday test

We sense the underlying
Abnormalness, 
In our hearts a deviation
From a clearest sanity
Could it be from our hands
The faults, all our own creation?

Most, or should I say all
Ancient civilizations
Felt an undergirding need
In the heart an inner call
For something outside the self
Dare I call it a god?
Is this the hand we seem
To have been dealt?

The answer is missing
Unless we pay close attention
Let's stop all the searching
Listen to our own urgings
To words inspired by a Holy Spirit
Meant in our minds to clear it
This worldwide, mass confusion
Take it out of the hidden darkness
Away from secretive collusion
This answer to the stress
All our world's lamenting strife
Look to our King, our Lord
OUR LOVING JESUS CHRIST!!

JOY!!


Joy

  J ust as the darkness
Tries to settle in
Your joy starts, begins
A canopy over despair
Always will it win

  O nly in looking up
Learning in You, Christ,
Simply to trust
Will I avoid into my soul
A violent world's 
Angry thrusts

  Y earning, turning
More deeply, completely
To You, Lord God,
Will I ever in this broken world
Be able to better know, show
YOUR JOY!!!

The Spark!

Strike the spark
Let it burn
Within our hearts
For more and more
should we yearn
Of you Lord Jesus

You are Our One God
Among your humble sheep
Did you live, come to trod
Pausing at times among us to weep
But never forgot at times
Your pleasant laugh to keep

So fan the sparks
Those tiny flames
Within our hearts
Even if we think at first
Too small to matter
For if they do not rise & scatter
But form as one
Coming together
A new fiery love for you
May they Ignite
A newer, deeper passion 
In our spirits excite
For our living, breathing
Reigning Christ!!
