More

More

More than
Father, mother
Sister, brother
Friend, neighbor
Family, community
All rolled into one
This, our God's
Holy Son

We were issued
From You
Made by You
For You, through You
If not for You
I, we would not exist
Before you placed
Each one in a womb
Did You say good-bye
With a small, tiny kiss?
I think You did, Lord Jesus
I think You did

So whenever you feel alone
Unloved, rejected
Think on this
You too can share
Christ's life, His love
Be also resurrected
So remember
That one small kiss
Because waiting
Behind it,
Ah
Sheer bliss
As we join Him,
our Savior from Galilee
Becoming a part of
His eternity's family
To walk forever
To be gathered
Upon His Heaven's
Streets of Purest Gold!

Do They Know?

Do They Know?

Do they know Lord?
Do they know
Do they even take it
seriously
Or regard it so
Casually
Nonchalantly
The despair, the pain
The hell that will be hell
Never hearing again
Your Name?
Even in your church
I fear
In eternity
May fall many a tear
As on the last day
Our rebellious indifference
Will be made more crystal clear!

1st Heartbeat

It's like I was supposed
To be Yours
From the first heartbeat
Created by You, for You
And through You
To share in the Glory
The Life, the Energy
That flows from You!

Praise You, Lord God

So lift up holy hands
Join in His flow alone
That guards our hearts,
Our homes, our land
Because
Only upon Christ's cross
Can anyone ever begin to take
A firm, Eternity’s Stand!!
