Waters of baptism
Over my head
Covers my face
Leaving no room
Not even one trace
Of darkness
Raised from a watery grave
Pulled up, Resurrected
Into Your light

Given new sight
To see as You do
For this water

My oath, my covenant
To follow, love,
Be loyal to you

Quietly content
From You to me has been sent
The darkness scatters
One Man
One Man
Everything
Hinges, rotates
Around
One Man
Air, earth,
Rock, water
Sand
Microbe, flea
Dolphin, elephant
Every atom,
Every molecule
Of every element
Nothing escapes
His attention
From His notice
There is no abstention!
But
Who would want that?
In His Presence is
Love joy, peace,
Goodness, kindness
He hopes eternally
Toward this His world
More and more would
Progress!!
As Christ holds out
Nail-scarred hands
Toward His pain-free
Glory Land
Won't you join in
Bring others with you
Come live in infinity with
God's only Son of Man!!!

How do we really wish to dwell?
With someone so beautiful
Our words cannot express
Or
An Infinity without God's love forever
This is every man's greatest
and lifelong test!

So let Him have your
Total being

Soon you will be
Seeing
(surrender as well as you can)
A new birth, transformation
And you will be allowed
To be a part
Of God's new earth, new heaven,
His completed new creation!

Not just watching
Or carried by your side
But caught up
Inside of you
Longingly I sigh
Please do not pass
Me by
In the moment
Of that breath
I know the best
Of life waiting
for me yet
Is to be caught up
Into the richest, deepest crevices
