Crisis

Spiritual or physical
The word still means
The same
In a dictionary it is
Given a name
Of

Critical turning point
Catastrophe
Impending disaster
Possible undesirable outcome

Is it just me
Or
Does it seem to be
Across the world
Getting worse?

I know in this country
I live in
There seems to be a rising of
What used to be called
Sin

Self-centeredness
Increasing
Respect for the home,
Families,
Decreasing

Unending lust for
Money, possessions
Some used for good
But also without discretion

To build up or
To utterly destroy
Forgetting to remember
Evil can also be found
Inside of toys

So do not let your
Days be wasted
Remember words of old
In God’s timeless Book
Are told

And perhaps
These Crises we’ve created
Maybe, just may be,
But only with God’s help, abated
