One Small Act

You watch
As you walk
Your breath
You catch
As
Jesus turns
He smiles
Inviting you
To join 
His group

Take a seat
Hold just 
One small hand
Then another
Or only one more
With this
You may be allowed
A completely different land
to influence
With Jesus
You never know
What might be in store

By holding onto others
Newer sisters, brothers
In this small act
You may be allowed
To release,
And 
To let go of
Yourself!
