Surpassing strength
More
Than all the energy
Contained
Within the unseen boundaries
Of this universe
Super nova explode 
Stars are birthed
Planets rotate slowly 
Evolving
More 
Than if all our atomic bombs
Explode
You are more powerful
Than the entirety put together!!

A Holy Trinity dancing
Through infinity
In joy, power
Unseen on earth
Let go, merest man,

Let your heart and mind's
Soul expand!!!

I cannot comprehend
Such beauty, power
Coming from, having no end
I am consigned to traverse
Under the light of only 
One strong sun
While in only one hand
You hold creation’s totality

Perhaps that is what is meant
By that old-fashioned word
GLORY
Ah, such wonder
Amazement
Perhaps those thoughts alone
You give to hold off despair
To keep our souls soaring!!

How do You contain 
Such energy
Dripping from your 
Fingers' tips
Within each thought
From each word
From Your lips
Then I remember
You use some upon 
Our world
On us
Down from heaven
Is it hurled
Into glowing red sunsets
Overhead
Multi-colored tulips
Crystal spider's webs
Translucent blue waters
Reaching more than a mile
Each act of love we perform
And into the newborn child's
Very first smile!!

Our Prince of Peace

You struggle, You reach
To fill our hearts

May we receive

The golden glow, 
The whispers of
Not I that live
But only Christ Jesus

May I mindfully choose

To Dissolve

Do you think you stand on terra firma?
Think again
A forever life down here
Never were you meant to win
Never will that happen
But do not let your soul
Be completely saddened
Trust in Christ, His Word
Do not follow the ways 
Of a world that pursues
satan, that very evil dragon

One day, in God's timing
When all of earth's clocks
At last have stopped
Their chiming
With a great rush,
From God's hand,
With only one last touch
On the face of this planet
Will then man take his last stand

It will dissolve
Hearing His voice
His irrevocable call
Earth will disappear
Even the universe's stars
No longer to anyone
Will be clear
Every molecule, every atom
Every fraction of dust
In nothing man has made
No longer can we trust

So prepare yourself
Get yourself ready
In Christ alone
Can your soul remain steady
You will finally stand
Before the golden throne
Of a Holy Trinity
Face to face with God's infinity
To view at last His wondrous Glory
And be allowed to read the first

The GATE


The Gate

This,
An unusual gate
An unusual shape
Formed 
Of two wooden beams
Not entirely an
Unbroken seam
What's known as
A Cross

On it people were hung
By hands or wrists
From its one horizontal rung
Until
No longer down here
Did they exist

Left to die
Against God's pale blue sky
But
For them it was not
The end
For them the journey
Was it just about 
To begin

Their souls released
To step through a gate
Into eternal peace
Or into a darker pain
For them,
Their existence would
Never be the same

Christ took that dark
Symbol of man's brutality
And turned it into the new 
Reality
Of God's goodness, 
Forgiveness
Love
Falling in heavenly showers
Of Jesus Christ's blood

So won't you step through
This heavenly gate 
Opened daily, 
Always freely to you
But remember,
Only by your own faith
As your Creator's joy-filled
Heart awaits
Do its portals swing wide
To reveal His Glorious Paradise inside!!

Are you really 
Willing to die?
Let go of it all?
For an illusion?
Something I cannot
See?
Something I
Cannot touch?

But you say it
Is the truth
This is indeed
Most acute!
Is this how
Your mind
You wish to soothe?

An unseen God
A Holy Savior
A spiritual level to life?
To save us from what?
I will admit
There is much chaos
Afoot
Everywhere much cruelty
Pain suffering
To find all of that
No one would really
Be at all hard put!

Maybe you are right
Perhaps I should be more
Contrite
Learn to let go
So I too may know
The Spirit's burning fire,
Joy, the Privilege
To pick up my cross
And follow Him
His paradise to win
To lose myself
And for the living Christ
Become a martyr!!
