Lean
That cross,
Slick & sticky
from the red flood
Of your precious blood
Soaking, dripping
from above
Down to me
Each precious drop
A powerful weapon
Only it has power to stop
satan’s hatred,
storm of fury
cruel & angry,
Against our lives
As you took
Your last breath
I am left
Knowing your death
Won my freedom
While I lean my head
Against the wood
Rough & hewn
By man carved
only to disgrace
I gaze upon your
Lovely dead face
Knowing you are
Returned to your
Rightful throne of glory
I will sit at your feet
On this blood-soaked ground
I do not care if I am found
Sitting here
Leaning into your cross
I know heaven’s deepest loss
Has returned my life to me
So may it ever be
For each & all of those
Who unafraid will dare
To lean into your cross!
King Jesus
May I always live
Leaning against your cross!
Here is a repost of something that happened to me awhile back. Hope you enjoy!
Sometimes I have what I call waking impressions or visions if you like. It was early in the morning. I had just woken up. In it, it was like I could sense God overhead and below him closer to the ground was an almost shapeless, glistening object. I sensed it represented a human soul.
I sensed He was showing me why he places so much value on each person. We are made of the same basic material as the living God, pure spirit. The real us is a spirit created in the image of God, eternal, never going to cease to exist. Our intellect, our emotions and our will are the real us. For everyone, our physical shells will die and cease to function, but not our eternal souls.
I think the message was this is why He places so high a value on us, higher than I can understand. I needed this message maybe more than anyone. The beggar on the street means as much to God as the President of the United States. May God bless your day!!
The Alphaand the Omega
The Alpha
&
The Omega
The beginning
And the end
To my ears
It does lend
A beautiful sound,
A Melody
It sang among
The stars
Tinkled around
The sun’s face
Following the
Road of grace
It raced
Upward, higher
Climbing the Stairway
To Paradise,
that Ecstasy, Bliss
it is to receive from
His lips
one word, one kiss
of His Perfection
So it was
Before all space
And time began
As we relate it
Before any
Water, air or land
Out of three great hearts
Was formed a
Great and mighty plan
Falling from the hands
Of three,
Father, Son, Spirit
To create another
With whom to share
The love, peace
Kindness goodness
Flowing around
Their joy-filled dance
So, with only
One single glance
They fulfilled the plan
And created their man
To live below
On a shining green world
Within the sun’s glow
And their eyes’ love
Joining in the wonder
Of their existence
It is the same today
As from our first day
On this our home,
A shining ball,
Always there was
A beginning and
There will be an end
To what is now seen
We will return to
The original plan,
Our purpose,
And live in glory
Within their eyes’ gleam
Revelation 21:6-8 He said to me: It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars — they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.
Answer
Most stand calling
Not realizing they do
What is it they Desire?
They need You,
Lord, God
The passion, fire
Of your heart
For them!
That is the answer
We all need.
In blindness &
Stumbling, fumbling Is this not what
We all seek?
Seeking joy, peace,
Fulfillment,
Love
We wander, fight
Shove
For our share
Of this earth
When all true lifeFlows freely from above.
INSIDE GOD’S HEART
We were made to live
From the very start
This is the purpose,
ANSWER
For which we were
Created
In only this,
Are all needs sated
To live daily
In contentment
More Fulfilled
Try as much as you
Can
To live inside
His Will
His Intellect,
His purposes
Your old man
That self
Must be killed
To let Him have
His way
Over you
His swaySo you may say,
Not I but Christ
That liveth in me.
But because we turn
Away
Harden our hearts,
Without our true calling
We endlessly wander
Thru all of life
Unsatisfied, discontent
stumbling
& falling
