In the Beginning – Chronicle III

 In The Beginning
 Chronicle III

 Eden’s glory on
 Full review
 In yellows,
 Greens &
 Brilliant azure blues
 Unflawed life
 With Perfection’s love
 No displeasure felt
 About which to sigh
 Walking under clearest skies
 Nor reason or complaint
 Over which to die

 Wait, what is that,
 To die?
 Understood not yet
 Or known
 No pain or regret
 With which to live
 Only joy & love
 A thing called death
 Living only in the shadows

 Air is always clean
 & fresh
 Only peace is
 Ever seen
 Between earth, sky
 & the sea
 Man & all animals
 Live only & always
 In harmony to be

 Food abundant
 Work is no toil
 No displeasure there
 To ever despoil
 Its sense of purpose
 Or the ease
 Of life lived under
 Gentle trees
 Swaying softly overhead
 At night only rest
Is found in all their beds

 Until one day
 With a slight chill
 An unknown shadow passes
 A rustling in the grasses
 Never heard before
 The man stopped to sniff
 The air
 The woman paused
to express only a mild care

 But in naivete
 On that most unusual day
 Neither knew from
 Experience they lacked
 What formidable evil
 Slithered,
 Invading their Paradise
 Now lurking & looming
 Behind their backs

 In the Beginning
 Chronicle  I

 In the beginning there
 Was nothing outside of Heaven
 So, in the beginning
 God decided
 To create
 For Himself
 A World

 He hummed, “You know, Son
We have so much to share
 Of kindness
 Love, joy
 Sometimes I feel
 Like
 I might explode
 Or implode
 I cannot hold
 It all in
 any longer.”

 So with a whirl
 And a twirl
 And a small jiggle
 Or was it a wiggle
 God created
 His earth.

 Gleaming, shining
 With life
 It glowed
 Just to show
 Its Creator’s Glory,
 This story of
 His Love
 Slowly, He stroked
 With one gentle hand
 The lion’s mane.
 “Look, it’s heart beats
 I think I just
 Might keep
 This one.
 But you know what
 I think I need me
 A Man.”

 “What is a man, Father?”
 “Just watch.”
 He blew on the dust
 And with one single thrust
 Of one finger
He raised him from the ground.

 God smiled.
 Happy, pleased and joyful,
He turned to his newest son,
 “Welcome to life, Adam,
 And this,
 Your new Paradise!”

Alpha & Omega

 The Alpha and the Omega

 The Alpha
 &
 The Omega
 The beginning
 And the end
 To my ears
 It does lend
 A beautiful sound,
 A Melody

 It sang among
 The stars
 Tinkled around
 The sun’s face
 Following the
 Road of grace
 It raced
 Upward, higher

 Climbing the Stairway
 To Paradise,
 that Ecstasy, Bliss
 it is to receive from
 His lips
 one word, one kiss
 of His Perfection

 So it was
 Before all space
 And time began
 As we relate it
 Before any
 Water, air or land
 Out of three great hearts
 Was formed a
 Great and mighty plan

 Falling from the hands
 Of three,
 Father, Son, Spirit
 To create another
 With whom to share
 The love, peace
 Kindness goodness
 Flowing around
 Their joy-filled dance
 So, with only
 One single glance
 They fulfilled the plan

 And created their man
 To live below
 On a shining green world
 Within the sun’s glow
 And their eyes’ love
 Joining in the wonder
 Of their existence

 It is the same today
 As from our first day
 On this our home,
 A shining ball,
 Always there was
 A beginning and
 There will be an end
 To what is now seen
 We will return to
 The original plan,
 Our purpose,
 And live in glory
 Within their eyes’ gleam

Revelation 21:6-8 He said to me: It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars — they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.

Parallel Universes

 Parallel Universes

 I’ve heard the words used
 Before
 Parallel universes
 From several books
 Those words are torn,
 Borrowed
 If you please

 Also in theories of those
Who do not like to be told
 Of a living God
 and
 only one single universe,
 HIS

 In old science fiction
 Books
 If you care to look
 Words like the above
 Are used
 Into this you are welcome
 To peruse

 In another ancient book
 Words are used
 If the truth you wish
 to persue
It speaks of this life we see
 Of this for yourself
 You may read

 A Bible, ancient &
 Holy
 Tells Gods story
 Of creation from
 Nothing
 Of all of this
 Something
 Which surrounds us

 But it also speaks
 Of what we cannot see
 With just physical eyes
 It speaks of spirits
 Good and bad
 & choices to be had
 By us

 Of angels, demons
  A destructive satan
 A loving Savior
 A Holy God of
 Spirit
 Of Heaven & hell
In its words it does tell
 Of these parallels

 Unseen but not unfelt
 In your heart,
 Spirit,
I think most of us know
 It exists
 Draw closer to God and
He will draw closer to you

 This is the truth
 He wants you to know
 For certain
 He wants to open
 The curtain
 Between the two

For us these two levels of
 Existence
 Are the very substance
 We are made of
 Both physical and
 Spiritual
 Existing in both
 We are clearly told

 As a hand fits
 Into a glove
 The spiritual above
 dwells within our
 Physical below
 More & more
 You will become aware
 As You let God indwell
 Your core essence,
 Your very Soul!

  So take a look around
 It will astound
 And should remind
 Of how frail this
 Physical is

Before Time

Before Time

Or

Space

Deep, impenetrable

Blackness

Infinity of emptiness

Except

At the foot of one throne

was endless festivity

Powerful creatures

Danced in jocularity

Perpetual light,

Emanating from only

One source

God Himself

His Life, His Grace

They danced in

Perfect joy

Father, Son, Spirit

Moved as one

Vapor trails of life

Followed each step

Man was not seen

Uncreated yet

Did He carry us

In His bosom

Unborn but not unloved?

How long did it take

His plan for a new world

To make

Split seconds or

Half of all eternity?

We will never know

This He’s never shown

Time really can stand still

Within Heaven’s gates

Thus He started a new story

It was perfection’s glory

A totally new creature

Never before seen

This, His man

New world, new animals

All formed

To live in peace, harmony

On a glowing orb

Of green and blue

Never will we know

I was not there to watch

His show

As God delicately spun

From nothing

A perfect world

Naturalism

Naturalism

Naturalism they call it

Morality relative only to

what I think

but Wait –

that changes

each time I blink

A world so cold

Post modernism has told

Us, We, Man, no longer

Have a Soul!

All that exists

Is only what you can see

or touch

All to me is only physicality

So should I run the risk

Of losing all meaning

To all life I see which surrounds

Are We truly simply dust

Made up only of elements

Found within the ground?

There is no right or wrong

Found within nihilism’s siren song

Only a birth & a death

For each of us

Then we will no longer swim

In this life’s stream

We simply cease to be.

How depressing!

I am glad I do not believe

What I am told

By your world

I believe a holiness, a soul

Dwells within

As most ancient civilizations

Believed

We are seeds

Of a Holy God much greater!
