A political chaos, A mess, Rages outside our doors Seeming louder, louder More and more
But is it the real issue Really the Problem? Or is there something Penetrating deeper into each home Down into the Marrow of our bones?
Chaos, pain The symptoms Of a general sickness Not just in this country Worldwide a plague is this Screaming, howling, An everyday test
We sense the underlying Abnormalness, In our hearts a deviation From a clearest sanity Could it be from our hands The faults, all our own creation?
Most, or should I say all Ancient civilizations Felt an undergirding need In the heart an inner call For something outside the self Dare I call it a god? Is this the hand we seem To have been dealt?
The answer is missing Unless we pay close attention Let's stop all the searching Listen to our own urgings To words inspired by a Holy Spirit Meant in our minds to clear it This worldwide, mass confusion Take it out of the hidden darkness Away from secretive collusion This answer to the stress All our world's lamenting strife Look to our King, our Lord Our loving Jesus Christ!!
Irresistibly drawn To this light Stronger and stronger To this urge I fear I no longer Feel a stranger
Increasing almost Every day Sometimes in More than one way Like a moth to the flame Hearing You speak my name I beat my frail wings Against the thin veil Of this flesh Separating for now You and I Ah at times can Life be quite the test!
Yet today I can just be still At the command of my God's will And enter into His desired rest Which at times I must confess For me is hardly ever easy So for now I will warm my wings As I listen heaven still sings Of the warmth, glory in the light Cascading from Your Wondrous love & might!
Second Death
What is this I hear about
A second death?
I thought death occurred
When I take my last breath
And that is it, the end.
But now God
You say no.
For us You say
You have another goal
After all,
We are eternal living souls
Never ceasing to exist
What a wonderful surprise!
To live with You forever
In Your celestial skies
But wait, You say
I have a free will
For yourself you must choose
Follow my Son's path
His obedience until the last
For once your heart stops
& the divide between
heaven & earth you move across
There awaits a reckoning
So,
As God now stands beckoning
Choose obedience's eternal
Paradise
Because
For your rebellion's disobedience
For your second death,
Nothing but an endless Dark Abyss
Will be left
This was the most important event in human history. The day the God of peace and justice decided to exact our punishment for our rebellion against Him on His One and Only Son, Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of the Only Living, Breathing God who willingly took the task upon Himself for reconciling us to His and our Heavenly Father. To marriages
Governments,
Our born and unborn
Children
Perverting, wasting
Lives
Why oh why
Will we not accept
The Remedy
Stares us in the face
Instead of listening
To our foe, that
Ancient enemy
We destroy ourselves
With disobedience
Ingest contaminated
Ingredients
From a satan so devious
He rains filth
Upon our heads
I pray for my country
That I love so much
Our money states
'In God we trust'
Then let's do that
Return to Him
He will return to us
So let's arise,
Wake up
Give our best, strongest
Thrust
To save as many
As we can
As Christ holds open
With His own nail scarred
Hands
The gates to His Eternity's
Promised Land!
Immortality
The physical shell will die
Cease to function
But wait!
Dry your eyes
Don't cry!
Good news is heralded
Shining like a rare emerald
No longer for you
Will life ever again be imperiled
Christ has been resurrected
Trumpet blasts of heaven
Freely flow from above
So no longer need you question
Your Immortality!
No matter the hell
At this level life may throw
Cling to Christ
He will lift your soul
You will transcend
To a joy-filled life
with Him
That will
