Once again Detective Hayden Douglan and Pastor Samual Thomas work together for the welfare of the young, traumatized boy as they dig beneath layers of deception to find a young girl’s murderer. Selling of drugs for profit and the agendas of crime bosses hinder a clear cut path to bringing the murderer to justice.
Along with the usual subterfuge and difficulty of bringing a local criminal to justice, Douglan again suspects a foreign influence still operating in the dirty underbelly of life in his beloved city. An organization he thought he had scared off for good last Christmas Eve night comes back to haunt the daily life of not only the city’s residents but also Nashville’s police force.
