Gratitude – A Thanks Giving Taking our punishment on Himself Until of all physical life was He bereft Of all our failures, darkest sins Were we completely cleansed Until none of it was left In return for this should we not At least a few moments a day Let go, Our own careless ways to stop And say one Thank You!

Keep my eyes focused up Toward your ever flowing cup Of Your Purest Joy & Love Thank you for letting me look above Toward your beaming, smiling Face Unending Overwhelming Mercy & Grace Of this, I desperately need A very large spoonful’s taste! Help me stay focused off The chaotic darkness below Our wars, pain & greed Allowing me to clearly perceive Your Radiant Perfection’s Glow A different way & place to live Is what you always wished to give Eternity’s paradise, those opened gates To a much better place And the overwhelming beauty Found only on your Holy Face!
Came From I came from & to you will return Dear God For your warmth-filled embrace I deeply yearn Your hallowed halls I long to peruse At the edge of your feet Those power-filled, golden shoes I tremble Yet there, I find my most peaceful rest & only at your behest Am I allowed to rise With expectant eyes To see for myself At last, Your beauty’s-filled smiling sighs!
