What’s an Imagination For?

Black trees with golden leaves
How can I see such as these?

But yet, 
There it is
& to me You do bequeath
The impossible to see

My imagination rises
Without mere eyes
Things to be seen
At each twist & turn
It surprises

Me more and more
As my spirit soars
Above this earth
Takes wings to adore
Your Holy Face

Dearest Lord,
Is that not what an imagination
Is mostly for?

To Be
I already Am
Within your loving arms
To live was always your 
Infinity’s Plan

So come,
Lord Jesus,
Come
Take control
Live in my spirit’s soul
May You over 
My rebellious heart
Win an absolute hold!

Throw away
My darkness
So may more clearly shine
Your LIGHTNESS
As I am allowed to rejoice
Even from this great distance
At the Beauty found
Within YOUR VOICE!

Giving

In the giving
You do the receiving
Therein likes the way of being
Like Christ

Who gave His Only Life
For us
Asking only in His Words
For us to trust

Let go of all the struggling
Of the sometimes pain & strife
Of always the will to get
Then on this journey should we let
Ourselves become that living sacrifice!

Taking our punishment on Himself
Until of all physical life was He bereft
Of all our failures, darkest sins
Were we completely cleansed
Until none of it was left

In return for this should we not
At least a few moments a day
Let go,
Our own careless ways to stop
And say one Thank You!

I love a blank page
Nice way to start my day
As words fill the head
An incentive to leave my bed

Perfectly pure white
A welcoming sight
Black marks fill to the end
Hoping I may to you send
A better day of Blessings & Joy!
