THE APPROACHING

Time goes forward

At least that is what it seems

To us, you, I and me

So, sometimes it feels

Like something, someone

Is getting closer

It is approaching

A change is in the winds

See, even the trees, grasses

To its forces will they bend

Another face, voices

To my soul they call

They now hold, conquer

My spirit becomes enthralled

Thunders roll from around Heaven’s throne

The lightnings crackle

God’s hand reaches out

From within His Angel Armies they answer

Approaching triumph

Echoing within their shouts

Banners unfurl

Soon down to what’s left of earth

Themselves will they hurl

Swords, shields raised

Following a Holy Leader

Deserving of nothing but our Praise!

Seated on a white horse

Fire in His Eyes

Christ Rides

Double-edged sword

In His Mouth

Crowns on His Head

Only by His Holy Name and

Power is His Army led

So, pay attention

Choose for yourself

A coming Wrath or Glory

The last chapter of this earth’s story

For it surely will arrive

This final judgement

This APPROACHING!!

To belong

To this earth

In its present condition

My old self

God desires

To break down

Purge me

My past

Old man

Old person

To recreate

Transform

Rebirth me

For once in my life

I am glad, thrilled

To not belong

To this old order

Old covenant

Corrupted world

As with outstretched

Hands & heart

I AWAIT

Of the dust

Gusts

Steadfastly seek
The One who made 
The dirt beneath 
Your feet
For it is
Through
Him alone
And only
That safe
Your soul

eternally keep!!

This world is lost
I wish it were
Another way
That such words
No one would
Ever have to say

But
Unfortunately
Tis true
For us
Me and you
For in a Book
Named Jude
Words are written
'Hating to touch the 
Clothing stained
By corrupted flesh'

Saved only by a Savior's
Purest, holy blood
Through Heaven's gates
Now it roars
A crimson cleansing flood
Poured out 
From God's love
Encircling our heads
Glistening above

So on this Love
Do not turn your back
Or you will feel
The terrifying lack
Of being allowed
To belong in the family
Of the living Christ

For only His powerful life
Can secure God’s grace
So you may live
Before His beautiful Face
Save you from a
burning lake's eternal death 
His love's power places you
in a new earth's city
Where you will finally see
the wonder, the majesty, the breadth,
Of His forgiveness,
And its truest eternal depth!!

I am a spirit
Immortal but flawed
And for the spiritual
I yearn, I call

Sometimes
Even
I cry
Sigh
Feeling a pulling
I cannot
Explain
Perhaps. it has a name?

Yes
God, our Holy Father
Jesus Christ
Our Holy Brother

So next time 
You feel that yearning
You sigh or cry
Just look up
The “Son” on you
Also will be allowed 
To shine
And 
Inside your own 
Living, breathing
Immortal soul
He too will live
And even rise!!!

Gift from God
This beauteous day
I lift my hands
Begin to pray

Beginning praise
My face I raise
Oh, this feeling of pure joy
To wish that others
Your eternity's blessings
Also may enjoy!

So all believers 
Enter the fray
As an ancient apostle
Once did say
Put on your full armor
Even if it causes a slight clamor
Fight above satan's roar
So you may save many others
Each and every single day

Be brave!!
Save with mercy
Snatching from the fire
Then heaven's streets
With souls may overflow
Its crowds may swell and 
Ever grow
So,
Swing your holy sword
Higher, faster, more, more
Oh for others sake
Even more!!
So may they also walk at last
Into Infinity's, Heaven’s
FOREVERMORE!!!
