Half a Chance Alone In the cold Trembling, shaken A thick darkness enfolds My heart Only an unknown terror awaits For each this is Our fate Until You came to fulfill A plan known only by a few Before any of creation Designed by a Father, Spirit And also You To save and rebirth All of your humanity Living on this green earth You came to save Our only chance Nay, May I say We had not half A chance Until you came to dance Among the living dead So thank you Holy Christ For offering yourself In us you wished to see Your face So my tombstone could read This one He saved In vain He did not bleed!

Nails pierced your hands, feet
Those same nails pierced my small heart
Gave me a fresh start
One Cross That cross upon a hill Reminds us in lonely words Still Of a dying sacrifice Every day while here He walked, talked, cried Then spread out his arms On a piece of hard tree To die For us to justify Only that one cross, Although there were Many others, Turned us into closer Sisters, brothers So, listen to the words It still whispers Wreathed in a blood so red Allow its words within To ring out, Out loud to be said Found spoken on that tree Some of the most important words Ever intended for Everyone’s life They will surely suffice Of, A loving Christ’s purest & most noble sacrifice!
