Before
Before all time and space
There was a glorious face
Full of only grace
Love for all He surveyed
Having always the last say
Over everything
But,
His goodness, beauty
So overwhelming
So always flowing
Over and upward welling
He wished to share it
With others
So the Three got together
Made planets spin
Stars shine
But decided they had rather
Make some someones
A planetary home was made
The darkest of night
Became a day
Animals, all creatures
Brought into His sight
Then
His allowed His man to stand upright
He felt such joy
In this glorious child
He had truly let
His imagination run wild
Crowned us at last
With one glorious smile!
Shout for joy
All the earth
At the glory
Of this first birth
But never fear,
He will remove
For a second time all tears
As once again,
The battle against
Darkness He will win
Return us,
Back home
If we choose
Remember God will
Never ever lose!!
REVIVAL
Something needs to be
Revived
If it has
Fallen asleep or
Died
Lulled into languor
Or is it a stupor
Apathy maybe
It will take more
Time to fully see
In more of the wealthier
Countries
There is less bending
Of the knee
Faith in a Christ appears
To be dying
More & more we pursue
Earth’s pleasure
To receive a momentary bliss
Ah, the sensation
Of an entertainment’s kiss
Driving forces beyond measure
Revealing more & more
Where are our heart’s true treasures
As perhaps pure faith languishes
More & more numbers show
It’s almost vanishing
Is there hope for it to
Be reviving
For this every true believer
Should be sighing
Return to me, I will return to you
Words of God lying
Available still to be reviewed
In plain black ink on a page
So let’s begin the work
It will not happen by itself
Holy Spirit let us pray
That once again you will
Rule all our nights & days
Lord Jesus, Holy God
It is only through your power
& your blood that any are ever saved!!
Infinity’s Hordes
I can’t explain it
Most times do not
Understand it
Have always felt
Out of step
With all that goes on
Around me
Life flows
Ordinary things
Business of existing
But I stand still
Alone
Until I look up
See your face
& breathe in
One deep breath
Hordes of angels
Surround me
To do your bidding
I can feel it
Getting stronger
Lasting longer
Making ready
For that One Great Day
Waiting for that
One Last Word
To GO!
Now it will begin
It will be the end
Of satan’s sway
Over earth
Beginning its new birth
Hordes will reassert
God’s complete control
Meant to correct
Our planet’s daily
Rotation
Around a no longer
Needed sun
As we run
Into ecstatic Joy
To live with YOU
Into infinity!!!
SPIRIT OVERFLOWS
You touch
The tip
Of Your finger
To Your lip
Then to
The very tip
Of my hand’s
Finger
Where You let
It linger
For only one heart’s beat
And then
It overflows
So that it too may grow
This seed
It wishes
To enlarge
Itself
I take what
You offer
Fill my heart’s coffers
Then silently
It flows
Until it reaches
Down to my toes
& I touch
The tip of
My finger
Where I let
It linger
To another’s
Your Spirit
To be
Passed on
Another does
The same
So Your
Most Glorious Name
May be passed
Finger to finger
Until at last
Enough
It’s been passed
Until no one
Else remains
All has been done
To save
Each & every one!!

Caught up in the here & now
To earthly gods we tend to lean & bow
Comfort, convenience, luxury,
Pleasure
All of these we lust after
Treasure
Let’s turn away
No longer to be fools
Controlled by useless satan’s tools
& their ever growing deceit
So, turn away
From those fragile gods of glass
As easily
Will God’s truth shatter
The shining illusions
Coming close
Will His breath scatter
Destroy
Robbing them of their fraudulent
Joys!
