CHRISTMAS!!!

CHRISTMAS
Is about
CHRIST
And His Birth
In spite of
His intensely
Miraculous Worth
He chose
To have all of
His beauty,
Uncontainable Power
Heavenly Glory, Light
On a rare, never seen before
Or ever seen again night
Put into a fleshly
Child-like shell
Who would have thought
They would ever have had
Such words to tell!

But such did occur
Done for the human heart 
To stir
To grab
Our attention away
From the mundane
Of each and every day
All of the world's
Daily dust
In which we seem 
To mistakenly place
So much trust

So let go of all the sparkly lights
For a few seconds
All the man-made delights
Of a secularized season
And meditate upon
God's Holy Son
Leaving all of
Heaven's Glories
To live in a darkened stall
As He willing chose
To answer His Father's call
To sacrifice His Life's Beauty
Knowing the awaiting cruelty
Still, He did it solely, 
Only,
Bravely,
Gloriously,
Eternally
To save all of us, 
The you and me!!

As my first glance

The joy

Your breath
You catch

Jesus turns
He smiles
Inviting you
To join 
His group

A completely different land
to influence
With Jesus

What might be in store

By holding onto others

In this small act
You may be allowed
To release,

To let go of
Yourself!

Hounds on the heels
For days, years on end
Isn’t that how it sometimes
Most usually does it feel
For all of us?

Oh! I cry
Oh, my Warrior God!
Alone and in the dark
Now, incessantly
Do I sob

Demons to the left,
Evil’s pain to the right
Of You nowhere in my vision
Do I seem to catch sight
All around only satan’s emissaries
Alone, alone, always alone I cry
Increasingly my very existence
They overwhelmingly deride

Until I hear your trumpet
I raise my head somewhat
To Your loud commanding roar
I can hear without a doubt
And no longer can contain
My own reverberating shout

As You command, aside evil
Do you toss
For of your beauty’s power
Never will there be a loss
The air around me you purify
You clean
Breathing better all at once
Towards you do I try to lean

On this day, as I am allowed
To gather and to see
The unending sight of my Heaven’s King
Upon His throne
And
Surrounded by your Almighty Power 
My soul in ecstasy has found its home!

You be allowed
To enter between
Heaven's gates

In His eyes!
