Fat cats, Fat cats
Sitting all in line
Meowing, screeching
Even do they whine
Look at me
They groom themselves
Do we not look
So supremely fine
Spoiled are they
Pampered
No wonder they do not care
To stray
Here in this place
They remain
Remarkably so safe
But outside dangerous winds
They blow
Sometimes you must
Face the cold winds
For true courage
To begin to grow
So step outside your comfort’s walls
Harken to a truer call
Follow a softer voice
But it must be
Of your own choice
Again, step out
A dark world in need awaits
You just may be surprised
Even a fat cat may be allowed
To help someone through
Heaven's shining golden gates!!
