A daughter
Am I
Of the dust
Hold only fast
Will I
To the One
Who keeps me safe
Within the whirlwind's
Gusts
Steadfastly seek
The One who made
The dirt beneath
Your feet
For it is
Through
Him alone
And only
That safe
Your soul
May you
eternally keep!!

This world is lost
I wish it were
Another way
That such words
No one would
Ever have to say

Unfortunately
Tis true
For us

Words are written
'Hating to touch the
Clothing stained
By corrupted flesh'
Saved only by a Savior's
Purest, holy blood
Through Heaven's gates
Now it roars
A crimson cleansing flood
Poured out
From God's love
Encircling our heads
Glistening above
So on this Love
Do not turn your back
Or you will feel
The terrifying lack
Of being allowed
To belong in the family
Of the living Christ
For only His powerful life
Can secure God’s grace
So you may live
Before His beautiful Face
Save you from a
burning lake's eternal death
His love's power places you
in a new earth's city
Where you will finally see
the wonder, the majesty, the breadth,
Of His forgiveness,
And its truest eternal depth!!

Immortal but flawed
And for the spiritual
I yearn, I call

Feeling a pulling

Perhaps. it has a name?

God, our Holy Father
Jesus Christ
Our Holy Brother
So next time
You feel that yearning
You sigh or cry
Just look up
The “Son” on you
Also will be allowed
To shine

Inside your own
Living, breathing
Immortal soul
He too will live
And even rise!!!

They fall then crest
As I watch and sigh
Your beautiful, wonderful face
Overflowing
Purity’s incomprehensible grace
Such glorious light brings
Moistness to my eye
And on my cheek
Where joy and gratitude
Come to meet

Chase all darkness

To be free from sin
To finally win
A perfected self
Oh,
That would be pure
Joy!
Was it that same joy which You felt
When out of Your love's wealth
In Your arms at last You held
Your newly created man?
But from Your grace we fell
As in an ancient book
Does it tell
No longer able to give you
Perfect submission
Left in open, ignorant rebellion
Living in our own mistakes
Every day it seems
I stumble and fall
Listening to a darker call
I struggle
Unable on my own
This of my self to perfect
But hopefully
In your freshly recreated earth
from Holy Obedience

I'm tired of the physical
Aren't you?
Trapped down here
For I am a spirit
A heavenly voice
Does call
Can you not hear it?

These emotions
At times
So disparate!
Wanting to cling tightly
To life down here
I shed a tear
Then sets in also
The fear
I start a prayer
Seeking your peace
At first
I feel no response

Your Holy Presence
Enters the room
To give a first hand taste

Your powerful, Holy Grace
Overwhelming love
