Sparkle and shine
Sparkle and shine
You Dear God
Before our eyes
Throughout all
The endlessness
Nowness
Of eternity’s times
Its might waves
They fall then crest
As I watch and sigh

Your beautiful, wonderful face
Overflowing
Purity’s incomprehensible grace
Such glorious light brings
Moistness to my eye
And on my cheek
Where joy and gratitude
Come to meet

So sparkle and shine
Sparkle and shine
Dear God
Fill my heart
My soul
Chase all darkness
From my mind
Forever and forever
Through all of my
Earthly tumultuous times!!

What YOU Deserve!!

To be free from sin
To finally win
A perfected self
Oh,
That would be pure 
Joy!
Was it that same joy which You felt
When out of Your love's wealth
In Your arms at last You held
Your newly created man?

But from Your grace we fell
As in an ancient book 
Does it tell
No longer able to give you
Perfect submission
Left in open, ignorant rebellion
Living in our own mistakes

Every day it seems
I stumble and fall
Listening to a darker call
I struggle
Unable on my own
This of my self to perfect

But hopefully
In your freshly recreated earth
from Holy Obedience
I no longer will swerve
And at last give to You
Lord God,
What You truly deserve
A new, wholly dedicated
Sin-free heart!

TIRED

I'm tired of the physical
Aren't you?
Trapped down here
For I am a spirit
A heavenly voice
Does call
Can you not hear it?
Ah,
These emotions
At times
So disparate!

Wanting to cling tightly
To life down here
I shed a tear
Then sets in also
The fear
I start a prayer
Seeking your peace

At first 
I feel no response
Then
Your Holy Presence
Enters the room
To give a first hand taste
Of your beautiful face
Your powerful, Holy Grace
Overwhelming love
Reminding me of a better way
Yours of course
And
Another place

Do not fear
Little one
Do not fear
For I am always
Right here
Within every heartbeat
Heaven's open gates
Await

Pain here so temporary
Nothing except I AM
Is permanent
For on my strong shoulders
Rests all of
Eternity's Government
So follow me
Just stay strong, 
Stay true
And soon, so soon
Will I carry you through
A new world, new life
New wonders
And 
Where resides
Only
Our Father's Holy Light!

Before it's too late
Lest you are devoured
By hell's dark
Horrifically
All-consuming gates

Before it's your last chance
To receive your last glance
Of Christ's redeeming
Open arms

Repent, Repent
Tomorrow is not guaranteed
Here, NOW
This heartbeat
Will it be hell's painful, burning gates
(remember, you still have a choice)
Or the unending light
Of Heaven's eternal joys!!

Fat Cats

Fat cats, Fat cats
Sitting all in line
Meowing, screeching
Even do they whine
Look at me
They groom themselves
Do we not look
So supremely fine

Spoiled are they
Pampered
No wonder they do not care
To stray
Here in this place
They remain
Remarkably so safe

But outside dangerous winds
They blow
Sometimes you must
Face the cold winds
For true courage 
To begin to grow

So step outside your comfort’s walls 
Harken to a truer call
Follow a softer voice
But it must be
Of your own choice
Again, step out
A dark world in need awaits
You just may be surprised
Even a fat cat may be allowed
To help someone through
Heaven's shining golden gates!!
