Now That’s Pretty!

I hope everyone has a God-blessed day! This video/poem is available also on my youtube channel Susan Guinn at: https://youtu.be/2G_JPJo-rCY

Now That’s Pretty!!

Sunrises are pretty
Flowers,
Oh, their colors
Can make you
Quite giddy!
Butterflies
Babies smiles
Laughter
Winter’s perfect seasons
But sadly
Just physical
Not spiritual
That comes only
From God
Is God

Warmth
Affection
Perfect Love
Shining, streaming
From above
Never leaving
Always present
Always good
Always faithful
Even when I'm not

King of the 2nd, 3rd,
4th chance
Showing in His
Celebratory Graveyard Dance
His Almighty Power
Over satan, death
Resurrecting people
With His every breath

NOW THAT IS
PRETTY!!

But, it is Personal

But it is Personal!

Up close
Eyeball to eyeball
Face to face
Chest to chest
Breath to breath
Until the second
Of your physical death
How close your God is

From the moment
Of our conception
Until at the foot
Of His throne
Our final destination
God wants and is
Close
So very , very close
Do not harden your
Heart
Like a rebellious
Lost world
Spiritually almost
Comatose

God wants to be
Intimate with you
Every beat of your
Heart is personal
To Him
Desiring for
All eternity
Your soul
To win
So let Him in

Let God the Father
Christ the Son
God the Holy Spirit
Be Personal with you
Your heart
Your very soul
Recreate
Refresh and
Renew!!

Unstoppable!!

Unstoppable

A pouring out
A flood through
Heaven's Gate
Nothing, no one
This Holy Power
Will ever abate
For if Almighty God
Decrees it
Then every human eye
Every soul will
See it

No more darkness
Will rule God's planet
Christ's victory dance
Upon it
Is for all eternity,
All of God's infinity
Totally, and in resounding
Joy
Completely
And
Gloriously
Unstoppable!!!

Nothing

Nothing

There is nothing
Nothing
Let me repeat
Nothing
As beautiful
As wonderful
As
Being with
Christ Jesus
And may I guess
As breath-takingly
Stupendous
As my first glance
Into His Face

Oh,
The joy
The peace
To fill my soul
From such
Might not
my small heart
Explode?
For now,
I suppose
I do not know

But let me
You reassure
No matter for now
What you may
Have to endure
In a world so lost
That for it
There is no other cure
But
Christ Himself
If you hang in there
Persevere
Until the end
You will win
HIS INFINITY
So rare, unique
So Gloriously Pure!!

The Demon Slayers

You may watch this video also on my You Tube channel under my name Susan Guinn. Have a blessed day.

The Demon Slayers

Demon Slayers
What even we were meant to be
At just one whisper of Christ’s name
The darkness trembles
Then it turns to flee
Over man’s history on this earth
Life became an entirely new game

Attackers at first
Until. . .
Christ’s resurrection bought for us
A complete and total new birth
Now satan’s demons run and hide
Afraid at last to show their true face
Knowing now had come
Of their beforehand freedom
The very last taste

Christ,
Now ensconced upon His royal throne
Encircled with His eternal beauty’s golden glow
Christ’s heavenly warriors are daily sent
To rend and destroy man’s age-old foe
So we too may begin our most joyful ascent
Towards Our Savior’s most glorious grace
And His Paradise’s Open Gates!!

Hammered

Hammered

At the hands
Of the smithy
Hammered
Over and over
Put back into
The burning,
Roaring flames
Removed
Only to be
Hammered
Again

God will do this
To us
You know
Maybe
Just to show
How much
He really loves you

Remember
He chose you
Not any other
For this
Particular fire
Knowing you so well
Only He could tell
What you needed
To make you rise up
Be inspired
On His shoulders
Lifted higher
And
Put back together
Newer, stronger, ready
To follow
His every step
