Do They Know?

Do They Know?

Do they know Lord?
Do they know
Do they even take it
seriously
Or regard it so
Casually
Nonchalantly
The despair, the pain
The hell that will be hell
Never hearing again
Your Name?
Even in your church
I fear
In eternity
May fall many a tear
As on the last day
Our rebellious indifference
Will be made more crystal clear!

Second Death

Second Death

What is this I hear about
A second death?
I thought death occurred
When I take my last breath
And that is it, the end.
But now God
You say no.

For us You say
You have another goal
After all,
We are eternal living souls
Never ceasing to exist
What a wonderful surprise!
To live with You forever
In Your celestial skies

But wait, You say
I have a free will
For yourself you must choose
Follow my Son's path
His obedience until the last
For once your heart stops
& the divide between
heaven & earth you move across
There awaits a reckoning

So,
As God now stands beckoning
Choose obedience's eternal
Paradise
Because
For your rebellion's disobedience
For your second death,
Nothing but an endless Dark Abyss
Will be left

I don’t know(demons)

Don’t Know (demons)

I don’t know
Why you would give me
such experiences
Surely you could have found
Someone of more uniqueness

An orphan from birth
One of the least of the least
Assuredly you could have
Chosen someone less
Beaten to their knees

Demons are real
Come only your safety to steal
Roaming from another realm
Come to destroy any peace

The first was only a black blob
I suppose from all the darkness
Through the eons he had trod
Speaking Jesus’ name
Was the only way
To end the purpose
for which he came
To bring me only pain

The second attempted to
Look like our God
On a throne he sat
Extended a hand
On this one I slipped,
Trusted
He touched my lips
Next morning, I was sick

The third, well
Looking like a child
Fearful when it smiled
Trying to beguile
Teeth, pointed, razor sharp
After one look
Asked about my written book
In appearance only stark
Shade of black and grey
Only with Jesus’s name
Did it disappear
No longer to terrify
In my ear

Perhaps the most fearful
In appearance of all
A grown man, strong and tall
No color to brighten his blackened visage
I said ‘In the name of
Jesus of Nazareth, begone
Arguing replied, ‘Doesn’t work like that’
Screaming I answered
Oh yes it does,
Repeated Jesus’ name
As before all the others
He left
Running from the light
Of our universe’s Master
To hide from His glory,
His power’s might
Our Prince of Peace
Lover of our souls!
Eternity’s Most Beautiful &
Wonderous Sight!

A Devil’s Dance

A Devil’s Dance

Around & around
Up & down
Whirling, madly swirling
This devil’s dance

To mesmerize,
Trying to entrance
To fool, deceive
Destroy
Only purpose for
A devils’ dance

More powerful than any opiate
Illegal it should be
For it teaches to never satiate
Teaches you not to perceive

Take off the blinders
Stop watching satan’s sidewinders
Frantically writhing
Rotten to the core
Pain is all that is left in store
For all who will follow
a devil's dance!

Warning, Warning!

Warning, Warning!

Warning, warning
Read all about it
Warning, warning
Voices raise to shout it

The great reckoning
Is coming
For us,
Out
the time is running

Soon will we all
Peoples be allowed
God’s face & presence
No longer will be disavowed

All to be judged
In His great presence
Investigating each life’s essence
In His Book it is assured
No one left not adjured
To be brought before His throne!!

Revelation 20:11-13 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done.

The One

The One
(and only)

In the beginning
the One
Created from nothing
All of this something
Father, Spirit & the Son
Worked in perfect harmony
So all of their creation
Could witness their unity

A part of that One
To earth was sent
With only the best intent
To save a beloved child
From the darkest designs
Of an enemy most vile

In the name of our Christ
Diseases were healed,
Demons were routed
Death was defeated
The Dead were raised
All to the glorious praise
Of His Holy Name

It is today still
That wonderful Name
& thru His gracious Will
In terror all demons run
When the Name is said
Of that precious One,
Jesus of Nazareth

Only the name of
That precious One
Has ever made all
my own demons run
I spoke it into the dark
Sincerely from my heart
In a heartbeat, they fled
Away from the side of my bed

Man has always been
too weak & on our own
We will never defeat,
Never meant to try
To survive all alone
Under a dark satan’s
Destructive, vicious blows

Only is that One Name
Been made all powerful
To totally destroy
satan’s darkness
So let us in faith joyfully sing
As out loud our praises ring
The name of our Christ,
Our eternity’s King
