Ever Rise!

I am a spirit
Immortal but flawed
And for the spiritual
I yearn, I call

Sometimes
Even
I cry
Sigh
Feeling a pulling
I cannot
Explain
Perhaps. it has a name?

Yes
God, our Holy Father
Jesus Christ
Our Holy Brother

So next time 
You feel that yearning
You sigh or cry
Just look up
The “Son” on you
Also will be allowed 
To shine
And 
Inside your own 
Living, breathing
Immortal soul
He too will live
And even rise!!!

Forevermore!!!

Gift from God
This beauteous day
I lift my hands
Begin to pray

Beginning praise
My face I raise
Oh, this feeling of pure joy
To wish that others
Your eternity's blessings
Also may enjoy!

So all believers 
Enter the fray
As an ancient apostle
Once did say
Put on your full armor
Even if it causes a slight clamor
Fight above satan's roar
So you may save many others
Each and every single day

Be brave!!
Save with mercy
Snatching from the fire
Then heaven's streets
With souls may overflow
Its crowds may swell and 
Ever grow
So,
Swing your holy sword
Higher, faster, more, more
Oh for others sake
Even more!!
So may they also walk at last
Into Infinity's, Heaven’s
FOREVERMORE!!!

Illusion

Spirits, all we are,
Each and every one
Waiting, languishing
Trying to
Observe
Figure out
But
All I hear
Is the noise
The shouts

A world caught up
In an illusion
That it somehow
Has control
Is its own God
Its own virtues
Does it unceasingly
Extol

Buildings, cars
Governments
Look what I,
(excuse me)
We have built
Made
But
The problem
They decay
Every day
In every way

Did I make 
The stars
No
The moon
No
Or even
The human soul?

So give up the illusion
There is no other
God but us
Learn how in Him
To put your trust
Your faith
Let go of the world's self
That greatest illusion
And reach for the
Only real wealth
Belief in your
Lovely,
Generous
Good to a fault
Stupendous
Creator King!!

What YOU Deserve!!

To be free from sin
To finally win
A perfected self
Oh,
That would be pure 
Joy!
Was it that same joy which You felt
When out of Your love's wealth
In Your arms at last You held
Your newly created man?

But from Your grace we fell
As in an ancient book 
Does it tell
No longer able to give you
Perfect submission
Left in open, ignorant rebellion
Living in our own mistakes

Every day it seems
I stumble and fall
Listening to a darker call
I struggle
Unable on my own
This of my self to perfect

But hopefully
In your freshly recreated earth
from Holy Obedience
I no longer will swerve
And at last give to You
Lord God,
What You truly deserve
A new, wholly dedicated
Sin-free heart!
