Rebirth!

When Jesus talked to Nicodemus, He spoke about our rebirth. In John 3:5 He speaks of being reborn of water and the Spirit.

Romans 6:4 We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. NIV

Rebirth!

It tears at my flesh

My soul is reborn

Into a world of light!

No more running from the night.

I thank you, Gracious Lord,

for this Glory of New Life

It runs downhill and up

in endless joyful Flight!

Media

Voices crying out

From every street corner

Vying for attention

Willing to grab, garner

In any way, your eyes

Which leads to

The heart

The inner you, do not

Let the world

Of you have

That part

These voices,

Indiscriminately cry out

Led by the great deceiver

Ceaselessly they shout

From

TV, magazines, airwaves

The Internet

The world in chaos

Do not give in, let

Them have your

Thoughts

Deluded by the greatest

Destroyer of all life

Father of all lies,

Murderer

Do not give them or him

your time

The World & its Media

Walk with blinders

Put on by one more

Clever than man

This Satan,

Do not let him have

Your hand

Do not be led

By his cruel heart

Instead give

Christ

That precious part

Of you

Which shall never die

Your spirit,

Created to be

Like the light

Meant to live in, see

God’s eternal glory!

Praise God!!!

Leaf’s Lace

Leaf’s lace

In water

Frozen for all time

Your clear crystal glory

Only brings to mind

A forest’s giant

Rough bark glazed

Painted in winter’s whites

Glistening, waiting

In a cooler’s sun’s light

I walk through

Boots all full of snow

Enjoying the dripping silence

Of this cold day’s glow

Nature waiting

All quiet, sleeping for now

As it comes in unannounced

Spring’s breath blows gently

Stirring to arouse
