Fat Cats

Fat cats, Fat cats
Sitting all in line
Meowing, screeching
Even do they whine
Look at me
They groom themselves
Do we not look
So supremely fine

Spoiled are they
Pampered
No wonder they do not care
To stray
Here in this place
They remain
Remarkably so safe

But outside dangerous winds
They blow
Sometimes you must
Face the cold winds
For true courage 
To begin to grow

So step outside your comfort’s walls 
Harken to a truer call
Follow a softer voice
But it must be
Of your own choice
Again, step out
A dark world in need awaits
You just may be surprised
Even a fat cat may be allowed
To help someone through
Heaven's shining golden gates!!

The Almighty!

Do not make GOD small
He is, of course,
And after all
El Shaddai
Almighty
Magnificent

But, of course 
Holy
Pure
Righteous
Able to indwell
Live inside of us
Of this
God is very desirous

But make no mistake
From us there is only 
So much rebellious
Behavior He is willing 
To take
Before
He steps in
His created world
To cleanse

His love so glorious
In order
His Obedient Children
to defend
This spiritual battle 
He will most assuredly 
Win
And with less than
One slight flick
Of one eyelash
God will destroy
In all battles
And
satan will meet
his well deserved
End!!!

But fire came down from heaven and devoured them, and the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Revelation 20:12, 15 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Miracle of the universe
My spirit, soul 
After you only
Does it desire
Does it thirst
Nothing, no one brings
The joy, wonder, love
Beauty, uplifting wings
To my Life
That You do!

Praise You, Yahweh,
Holy God!!!

Praise You,
Holy King
Only for now
Are You unseen
But in my soul
Are You securely known

Idols, Idols
Everywhere
I look, 
I stare
Turning my head
I can see
Enticing, me
To Believe
In their goodness
What a mess!

You have yours
I have mine
They’re hard to let go
Hard to unwind
Most of the flesh
To understand
Not such a great test
Power, Money
Material Possessions 
Sex
At time, they can lead
To extremes of regret

In love with ourselves
We run, we fume, we struggle
At times, in singles
Or often in doubles
We collect, we hoard
Then grasp
We should feel insecure
Nothing down here really 
Lasts

Reach for the eternal,
A Holy Immortal God
Please, oh please
In Him learn to trust
He desires to love us!
His blessings
They can be known
So, don’t stand out in the
Dark, all alone
Reach for wisdom
And take yourself off 
The idol’s throne!!

The Third Temple!


A Third Temple!

Today In Jerusalem
You may hear some clamor
Sounds, voices
In the air float rumors
A third temple they say
Will bring for our earth
A much better day!!

But don't they know
There already is one!
It is you and me
If in our God
Christ Jesus
You wholeheartedly
Do believe!!

Christ does not 
Need dead, cold stones
In which to survive
It is within the human heart
He comes best to live
And to most assuredly still thrive!!

As Christian believers
We are living stones
Built up together
As one
For God's Spirit
A newer Home
Along with His Holy Son
Of this newer temple
His Living Cornerstone!!

Once for all
Christ's blood purifies
For a whole world 
To see
So with faith
Anyone, everyone
May forever live
At the foot of God's throne
His deeply loved,
Glorified, Perfected
Living Stones!!!!

Demon Slayers
What even we were meant to be
At just one whisper of Christ’s name
The darkness trembles
Then it turns to flee
Over man’s history on this earth
Life became an entirely new game

Attackers at first
Until. . . 
Christ’s resurrection bought for us
A complete and total new birth
Now satan’s demons run and hide
Afraid at last to show their true face
Knowing now had come 
Of their beforehand freedom
The very last taste

Christ,
Now ensconced upon His royal throne
Encircled with His eternal beauty’s golden glow
Christ’s heavenly warriors are daily sent
To rend and destroy man’s age-old foe
So we too may begin our most joyful ascent
Towards Our Savior’s most glorious grace
And His Paradise’s Open Gates!!
