To Enlarge!

To Enlarge

Enlarge my ears
So I may hear
Your message
So much more clear
But not just for me
But so that others
May also see
Your Glory!

Enlarge also their ears
So You may stretch
Their ‘hearts’
For all our spirits need
A fresh, new start

Please save us
Since you love us
This most earnestly
I pray
Each, Every Day
For You, Dear Christ,
In your power, might
To stop all this vicious decay
Around us!!!

Imagine!

Imagine

Imagine,
If you will,
A group of people,
A church,
Not too far a stretch
Calmed into a sleep
By
A lullaby
Of a distant world’s drums
Soft, at first,
Then suddenly
Exposing sharp teeth
Gouging out eyes
Seeking souls to blind

Demons everywhere
Pulling out the eyes
Unaware, blindly people will stare
How, oh, how will they awake
From what they believe to be
Only a blissful state?

What catastrophe will it take?
This lust for comfort’s sleep
How will it be slaked?
Perhaps only a great pain
God may have to use
If from this dulled sleep
They do not rouse,
& reach for eternity to gain

We will need help
So,
Watchmen on the walls
Ring out in a strong voice
Sound out a great call
We need no further debates
To save one and all
Before it becomes indeed
For our country, this world,
Much, much too late!!

The Christmas Tree Angel

JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS! My new Childrens Book, THE CHRISTMAS TREE ANGEL, is now available on Amazon.com Below is a description.

On a cold, wintry Christmas Eve, a decoration in the shape of an angel hangs on the most beautiful Christmas tree in town, the tree in the large city park. Even though the same snowy white as the other angels, she is made fun of for the too small, misshapen size of her wings, but only she has enough kindness in her heart to want to help two unhappy children who pass by her tree. Because of her wish to be able to help the children, she is given the power to fly by a special Christmas star.

She suffers through many dangers in order to help the two children and their mother have a merrier, brighter Christmas than they would have had without her kindness. For her courage, love and compassion, she is given a final reward as the sun rises over a new Christmas Day in the city!

Quietly Soft but Deadly

Quietly Soft but Deadly

It may start,
(for most it does)
Quietly & softly
In the heart
Deception
Seeking reception
Into your innermost recesses
This will be your greatest test

Large numbers
Consciences so burned
They will not recognize
So it will quickly seize
Its chance to take hold

satan will try to sneak in
a foothold he lusts to win
Evil hoping to replace
The least little taste
Of Christ’s lovely perfection

The darkness says
Christ does not exist
But the strongest weapon yet
In its arsenal
To persuade you satan
Does not exist

This you must do
Go to any lengths
Use all your own
& lean on the always there
Of Christ’s strength!!

A Love Song:
(A Part Of)

It is like I was created to be
Always a part of Your group
Your Holy Trinity
A smaller part
As I bend down
Worship on my knees

It is Your gift to be like you
Should this not
My worldly values askew?
A world so out of balance
Literally out of its mind
Rolling, tumbling on
A very, very thin line

Not even those lost rebellious angels
Did you dare to die for
Only over us Your Spirit’s healing
You wished to pour
To enable re-birth
Through all the light
& darkness of this universe’s
Massive girth

In truth, nothing and no one else
Did you create to
Reflect the goodness of
Yourself but us
Thank you, Dear Lord
In You only may
I completely live & trust!

A Stupor!

A Stupor

In a stupor
We walk
Unaware
As we stare
Blindly
At a world
Only physical
We think
But if you blink
In only one small wink
You can awake

Supernatural
All around
Those beings
Angels to do
His bidding
demons always trying
their own way
To be winning

After walking
On His planet
He left behind
Upon it
A few
Who were
Awake
Then more followed

Until it was
More & more
Now upon
The near & so distant
Shores
More eyes
Hearts wakened

So join
A growing crowd
Even if
You have to shout
To tell what it is
About

Before
It is too late
& their stupor
We cannot abate
As those who
Are now awake
most patiently
await
His return
