Noise, Noise


Noise, noise to
To fill the ears
With the eyes as well
Does it interfere
On screens everywhere
Floats through the air
With the power to heal
Or our souls to tear

Our world in chaos
Forever in pain
In such a state
Of blindness
Can there be any gain
For deepest peace
Can we grasp onto joy 
Or will we driven be
Over a desperate world to 
Constantly weep?

There is a noise for 
All to seek
That tries to help
You truly reap
That deep inner knowledge
Or what our lives should be
But this can only be found
In quiet & on our knees
Comes in response to
God’s inner urgings
That still, smallest voice
May we respond always
& most gratefully rejoice!

Stools of Do Nothing

In this country, USofA,
Not all,
But many
Who claim
To carry 
Christ’s name
Do Nothing

We enjoy our 
Comforts
As we stroll,
Cavort,
In our prosperity
As glaringly
Evil grows, rises
Stronger 

We have not stood against
satan’s darkness
He stands in jest
Of our spiritual weakness
Apathy
As all around we see
Our culture deteriorates

It is time to 
Gird our loins
As of old
As the ancient 
Book has told
Dress ourselves
In God’s Protective Armor
For the battle 
Does rage
Each & every day

If suffer we must
To carry Christ’s name
Then suffer we should
To protect all that is good
All good things flow
From the Father
Of the heavenly lights
It is times for Christ’s
American church to
Join in the fight!!

Jesus. . . Disney World?

Jesus or Disney World?

Disney World
That land of endless delights,
Thrills and joy!
Where nothing bad
Or sad ever happens
Your next adventure awaits
Between its hallowed gates

But wait
Don’t look too closely
You’ll see its flaws
Don’t take time
to stop or pause
They’re only whirling machines
Even though they
May glisten & gleam
It’s all a sham
A tall tale, a false dream

Wait for the real thing
To which to cling 
Jesus wants to give you
Something honest, rock solid,
So Beautiful
Mere words do not suffice
To describe the heights
Of His eternity's delights
Perfection’s Love, Contentment,
Joy, Peace, Glories that await 
Between His Majesty’s Golden Gates
Always & forever at His Right Hand

Purity

White, 
Gleaming, dazzling
As the sun blazes
Giving out life
Yet even brighter
Your precious face
Beams 

Without boundaries
Knowing no limits
Your Love lifts each
& All
Upward to share in
The glory of life
Originally intended

Oh, Lord Jesus
Send your glorious
Pure White Love,
Eternity’s Purity, 
My way, each & 
Every day
Offset satan’s darkness
We wait with eager hearts
For your glorious return!!

Transcendence

Transcendent,
Light gathers in the air
Around you
Everywhere
Nothing left untouched

Bringing Life
Glorious, Bright
Destroying strife
Filling with your Peace
Come, Lord Jesus, Come

Come God’s Only Son!
I look toward your skies
I try
Then sigh
Alone I cannot transform
This earth’s constant 
Storms

Only you can 
Change today
So, I will say
Take me,
Break me,
Leave me yours alone!

As the world rolls on
And we struggle forward
Living & dying
Wondering
Will He really come?

Of course, He will
And does
We are Never Alone
Christ lives
& continues to give
Every breath
Every heartbeat

Brings new life
New sight
To darkened eyes
Reddened as we cry
But still living to
Hope 

So let Him enfold
Your heart
In His arms
The warmest of
Embraces
As you must face
A lost world
So in His arms
You may taste
Eternity’s Love!
