The Approaching!

This APPROACHING!!

THE APPROACHING

Time goes forward

At least that is what it seems

To us, you, I and me

So, sometimes it feels

Like something, someone

Is getting closer

It is approaching

A change is in the winds

See, even the trees, grasses

To its forces will they bend

Another face, voices

To my soul they call

They now hold, conquer

My spirit becomes enthralled

Thunders roll from around Heaven’s throne

The lightnings crackle

God’s hand reaches out

From within His Angel Armies they answer

Approaching triumph

Echoing within their shouts

Banners unfurl

Soon down to what’s left of earth

Themselves will they hurl

Swords, shields raised

Following a Holy Leader

Deserving of nothing but our Praise!

Seated on a white horse

Fire in His Eyes

Christ Rides

Double-edged sword

In His Mouth

Crowns on His Head

Only by His Holy Name and

Power is His Army led

So, pay attention

Choose for yourself

A coming Wrath or Glory

The last chapter of this earth’s story

For it surely will arrive

This final judgement

This APPROACHING!!

I Do Not Belong!

The video is also on my You Tube channel at: https://youtu.be/LEIzlaSiLYA May God bless your day!

I Do Not Belong

I was never meant

To belong

To this earth

In its present condition

My old self

God desires

To break down

Purge me

Of

My past

Old man

Old person

To recreate

Transform

Rebirth me

For once in my life

I am glad, thrilled

To not belong

To this old order

Old covenant

Corrupted world

As with outstretched

Hands & heart

I AWAIT

THE NEW!!

Temporary . . . . . For Now!

Temporary. . . For Now!

Temporary
For now,
That's all I know
So where is my permanent
For that,
I must look to the firmament
Over my head

Waiting,
In earth's stead
Angels,
All manners of
Heavenly devices
Ah,
Such relief
They my soul entice
And
Certainly
Will more than suffice

So,
Dare to look up
To an eternal
All powerful God
As upon this
Temporary earth
We all trod
So be Holy
Trust, trust, trust
In God!
Never will He lead you
Astray
Always and forever
He leads to infinity's
More glorious, eternal days!!

Then You’re Not!

Ezekiel 33:7-8 (NIV) “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to the wicked, ‘You wicked person, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak out to dissuade them from their ways, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.

Then You’re Not

In days of old
Oh say maybe 60, 70 years ago
Pastors did not seem to hesitate
To tell the truth
To try to remove sin
By its root
But today, well . . .

They say Jesus loves you
Which, again, is one of
God's eternal truths
But
What of other words
In His Holy Book
Perhaps, we should take a look

If you love me, you will obey
My commands
But they must know
Upon which guides
To take their stand
If you don't tell them their mistakes
Fate of not just them
but whole world is at stake
Then You're NOT being a good
Watchman on the wall
And

Their blood will be on your head!

Not my words
But to Ezekiel, a Holy prophet, said
Long ago by God Himself
So do not be afraid
To take a Holy stand
Be God's courageous, holy man
Rebuke a culture's sin
Boldly,
Loudly
So more and more souls
In this world may Christ win
And new generations may arise
To march into Heaven's gates
Through eternity's celestial skies!

Remember,
God will denounce their sins
On judgement day
Over each human soul
No one holds more sway!

Now That’s Pretty!

I hope everyone has a God-blessed day! This video/poem is available also on my youtube channel Susan Guinn at: https://youtu.be/2G_JPJo-rCY

Now That’s Pretty!!

Sunrises are pretty
Flowers,
Oh, their colors
Can make you
Quite giddy!
Butterflies
Babies smiles
Laughter
Winter’s perfect seasons
But sadly
Just physical
Not spiritual
That comes only
From God
Is God

Warmth
Affection
Perfect Love
Shining, streaming
From above
Never leaving
Always present
Always good
Always faithful
Even when I'm not

King of the 2nd, 3rd,
4th chance
Showing in His
Celebratory Graveyard Dance
His Almighty Power
Over satan, death
Resurrecting people
With His every breath

NOW THAT IS
PRETTY!!

Unstoppable!!

Unstoppable

A pouring out
A flood through
Heaven's Gate
Nothing, no one
This Holy Power
Will ever abate
For if Almighty God
Decrees it
Then every human eye
Every soul will
See it

No more darkness
Will rule God's planet
Christ's victory dance
Upon it
Is for all eternity,
All of God's infinity
Totally, and in resounding
Joy
Completely
And
Gloriously
Unstoppable!!!
