Never can we save ourselves
We are not capable of
Pulling ourselves out
Of our depravity
We cannot be our own god
If that is the role you seek
For that designation
We are much, much too weak
It took God’s own act of kindness
To pull us out of all the darkness
From a golden throne of glory
Christ died alone in agony, sweat & blood
To change the outcome of our eternal story
So today while you can take
One more breath
& your heart still beats
Do not let your ancient enemy
Steal, defeat or cheat
You out of your one last chance
While for you it is still Today
Begin a complete fresh new start
This Moment give Him your whole heart
None of us knows how many more
Of our heart beats are left
Death awaits at every step
& after that,
THERE ARE NO MORE SECOND CHANCES
THERE WILL BE NO BACKWARD GLANCES

Catastrophe
Impending disaster
Possible undesirable outcome
Is it just me
Or
Does it seem to be
Across the world
Getting worse?
I know in this country
I live in
There seems to be a rising of
What used to be called
Sin
Self-centeredness
Increasing
Respect for the home,
Families,
Decreasing
Unending lust for
Money, possessions
Some used for good
But also without discretion
To build up or
To utterly destroy
Forgetting to remember
Evil can also be foundInside of toys
So do not let your
Days be wasted
Remember words of old
In God’s timeless Book
Are told
And perhaps
These Crises we’ve created
Maybe, just may be,
But only with God’s help, abated

White,
Gleaming, dazzling
As the sun blazes
Giving out life
Yet even brighter
Your precious face
Beams
Without boundaries
Knowing no limits
Your Love lifts each
& All
Upward to share in
The glory of life

Oh, Lord Jesus
Send your glorious
Pure White Love,
Eternity’s Purity,
My way, each &
Every day
Offset satan’s darkness
We wait with eager hearts
For your glorious return!!

Don’t water it down
Sugar coat it
For I seek a golden crown
Only He can give!
Upside Down or Right Side Up?
A world in chaos
Lacking a clear direction
Things, ideas, get tossed aside
Each day, let go
Doesn’t this show
A world in confusion
Upside down?
Where Up is Down
& Down is Up
Restless words
Tossed about on
Distressed waves
Of anxious noise
Peace on some days
Seems almost unheard
But someone stands
Knocking
On everyone’s heart
Longing to be allowed to impart
His Peace-filled Spirit
Bring about a new day
Create within us a new way
To live
Trying Himself to give
To His world a new direction
Turn it Right Side Up
Where Up is truly Up
& Down is truly Down
So do not be afraid
To go against the grain
Of a lost, bewildered world
And for yourself & others gain
A better sense of how to live
Where confusion does not reign
Under this, His One Holy Name,
Christ Jesus!
Demon’s Fright
(Your Light)
With four demons around
My throat
You came in and satan’s
Hold You broke,
Lord Jesus
At Your name the darkness
Scattered
With Your Name they fled
You solved the matter,
Lord God
They ran, disappeared in
In terror
Knowing their end is near
Lost their power,
Praise You, Lord Jesus
So no longer do we need
To fear
satans’s evil power
with You so near,
King Jesus
So, thru my faith & loyalty
To you
Once again, your love
You will prove
When You, Most Gracious King,
With Your voice You will ring
In a new heaven, completely new earth
Leaving all of us reborn
An eternal, bodily new birth!
Praise You, Lord Yahweh!!!
