SomedayIt still amazes me, Lord
That even yet today
You want to share
Your Goodness with me
My imperfections are almost
As numerous & vast
As the span of one of
Your seasI stumble, I fall
I walk then I crawl
Down here I never
Quite pull it all
TogetherYet Someday I know
Yourself you will show
To each, to every & all
I will live to display,
on that Heaven’s Perfected Day
Only Your Shining Glory
My imperfections will be
Forever washed, wiped
Completely Away!
The Alphaand the Omega
The Alpha
&
The Omega
The beginning
And the end
To my ears
It does lend
A beautiful sound,
A Melody
It sang among
The stars
Tinkled around
The sun’s face
Following the
Road of grace
It raced
Upward, higher
Climbing the Stairway
To Paradise,
that Ecstasy, Bliss
it is to receive from
His lips
one word, one kiss
of His Perfection
So it was
Before all space
And time began
As we relate it
Before any
Water, air or land
Out of three great hearts
Was formed a
Great and mighty plan
Falling from the hands
Of three,
Father, Son, Spirit
To create another
With whom to share
The love, peace
Kindness goodness
Flowing around
Their joy-filled dance
So, with only
One single glance
They fulfilled the plan
And created their man
To live below
On a shining green world
Within the sun’s glow
And their eyes’ love
Joining in the wonder
Of their existence
It is the same today
As from our first day
On this our home,
A shining ball,
Always there was
A beginning and
There will be an end
To what is now seen
We will return to
The original plan,
Our purpose,
And live in glory
Within their eyes’ gleam
Revelation 21:6-8 He said to me: It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars — they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.
Smear Campaign
A smear campaign,
A dark, thick smoky
Cloud
From eons ago
From the beginning
Hoping it would be
Winning
Against Heaven’s
Throne
Against the Holy
One
At first this cloud
Merely a slight stench
But
Today,
There is a mighty
Fist clenched
Around the throats
Of man
An evil hand
Works against the sons,
Daughters of man
Worldwide
Grown stronger
Only because we
Have lingered
To listen to its voice
At its gates longer
Than we should
Telling us we
Are only physical
Only the natural
Exists
This naturalism
Fighting to form
A schism
Between man
And His Creator
It’s goal
Is to destroy
All efforts
To acknowledge
Man has
a soul
Eternal, unending
Ageless
To Smear, slander
God’s holy family
Point out its flaws
Of which it has many
Still under Christ’s hand
It struggles forward
At His command
To love His world
So the great destroyer
Entices
Uses our vices,
To draw man in
To this ancient battle
satan knows
he cannot win
destroy everything
spiritual
a worldwide campaign
in a sense
literal
using our worldly
lusts
those great two
Money, Power
as the world
spins toward
a darker hour
powers that be
are blinded
cannot see
they are being used
& very abused
to try to bring about
a kingdom’s
end
As I glance upward
To the skies
Using our greatest weapon
A prayer begins
Within my heart I cry
As the battle around me
Intensifies
You See Me
(God)
You see me
I am known
In You I may
Grow
Become
More
Of What
You See
Me to be
A daughter
A son
With this thought
May I run
Be Still
Let you fill
My
Empty Hollows
Monday Prayer
Jesus,
You own
Your world
You made
It
Only You can
Save
It
And us
From ourselves
So please
Won’t You
Come dwell
Within us,
Me
So I may see
You,
Father,
Holy Spirit
As You really are
Come to know you
Better
Watch you as you
Scatter
Yourself and gifts
To us
I need you
Come walk
Around inside
my life
to end the
strife
between us
So it is not I
But you that
Lives in me
Thank you for
Showing me
Your way
So straight
As You fling
Open Heaven’s
Gates.
Praise You
Lord Jesus
Forgive me.
In your name
Amen
