In between the hospital stay and now my husband’s rehab clinic stay, I found a few minutes to take photos and write another poem. I hope you enjoy these and have a very blessed day. Praise God!

Fall’s Gilded Girls

Fall’s gilded girls
All in a row
Why would one ever think
In you resides no soul?
Your curly locks
Bright splashes of color
Adorn your heads
As upon no others

Some look at you and
See merely trees
But from only one glance
I believe is seen
The Spirit, the Soul,
If you please,
Of the one who designed
Your bright glistens & gleams

With a powerful hand and 
With the greatest of glee
Your bright glories were created 
By our God for all to see 
And to know that they are truly loved
From His all-joyful Heaven up above
So for our pure pleasure it can be found
To be placed upon your yellowed brow 
The brightest of creation’s most golden of crowns

For Prayers & a Poem

My sweetest, little husband of 48 years has just been diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer. He is very sick and in the hospital. He has had multiple strokes and heart rhythm problems, is very sick and weak. I do not know if he will make it or not. I would just appreciate any prayers for his healing or a peaceful passing for him from this world. He is one of the sweetest, kindest people I have ever known and at times has been so good to me. Praise God! Below is a poem I dedicate to him.

OUTSIDE
(to my husband)

Outside of
Our sense of reality
Of what we only see
With eyes
Allowed to touch
Only with fingers, hands
Existing within the 
Limited plans of man

Is another place, world
Kingdom
Of an Almighty
& Holy Son
Another dimension
Of glory, His Holy light
Empowered by His Grace
and loving might

Outside this universe of
Rocks & stones
Planets swirling
Gases twirling
Suns burning
Full of all our yearnings
Lives a gloriously beautiful
Creator King

Of whom with full voices
The angels sing
All of our heartbeats together
Could not equal the 
Eternal joys & pleasures
Of His forever lights & glories
Reflected in all of the ancient’s
Wisest stories

So let go of your desires
Fueled by hell’s hottest fires
For only physical things
You see now
Enter that higher level of
Heaven’s, Infinity’s brightest lights
Of Angels’ wings & breath
So you also may tell of
A place of only life
Forever with no more death!

Lost & Found

Once there was a TV show
With the title of
Lost
It was only make-believe, fantasy
But 
Sadly today it is for many
Their reality

Just look around
In every, village home & town
They are everywhere
It does not take a very
Long or difficult stare
To find them

For them God’s heart aches
You might say it even breaks
So if we are to do, fulfill
His most passionate 
& good,& holy will
To them we must go

He does not want them
To live as in that show
Always lost and seeking
God desires greatly to be Found
To put everyone back standing
Upright on His Most Holy Ground

Life is not just about me
Or you & you
It is about all of us,
This whole frail planet of dust
One large community
In this we must believe, trust

My country & also yours
Every one, small & large
Bears the terrible scars
Of an enemy’s lies

Seeking to tear down, destroy
About this he has never been coy
Plainly wishes us to end
& all his battles to win

Masquerading sometimes
As an angel of light
(he does not easily
give up the fight)
Lies, kills, deceives
All to bring us to our knees
In searing pain

Railing against 
God’s Holy Name
Before his strength does wane
As he knows it for certain will
So our joys he seeks to kill
And our salvation steal

But,
If as one we will all follow
The One whose name
Is forever above all
If we answer Christ’s call
Then assured is satan’s fall
& his power rings most hollow

So, let all believers agree to be
One united world-wide community
That standing together no matter the cost
We all will assuredly see
Our loving Christ’s glory & victory!!

Maybe Your Last Chance

Are words of Life & Glory
Everyone should take a 
Good hard long look
Read of the complete & 
Honest truth of Man’s story
Words that explain our Existence

But unfortunately
There is a dark side to
All of this light
Because try as hard as 
We can with all of our might
Never can we save ourselves

We are not capable of 
Pulling ourselves out 
Of our depravity
We cannot be our own god
If that is the role you seek
For that designation
We are much, much too weak

It took God’s own act of kindness
To pull us out of all the darkness
From a golden throne of glory
Christ died alone in agony, sweat & blood
To change the outcome of our eternal story

So today while you can take
One more breath
& your heart still beats
Do not let your ancient enemy
Steal, defeat or cheat
You out of your one last chance

While for you it is still Today
Begin a complete fresh new start
This Moment give Him your whole heart
None of us knows how many more 
Of our heart beats are left
Death awaits at every step
& after that,
THERE ARE NO MORE SECOND CHANCES
THERE WILL BE NO BACKWARD GLANCES
