To The Creator What can the created Give to the Creator? Someone so holy Righteous, Perfectly Pure But yet, I will try With each broken sigh To fulfill that of which You dreamed That purpose, that destiny Living deep within the heart of me!

Revolving Life is revolving Circumstances Shifting, Always evolving Which is okay God did not mean for Us to stay Forever static But what are we To become? Is there an answer To that as I run My life’s race? Just around what does My life revolve? All existence Revolves around God the Son, God the Father God the Holy Spirit Holding all of life Every living thing In their hands Stars spin, Lives end & begin Planets die off All in tune to A universal melody An eternal song Chiming out the purity Infinity’s bright light In God’s love So, join in the dance Let Him also entrance Your heart Join the mighty crowds That have been endowed With His Grace, Mercy Forgiveness Let your life revolve Around His!

Culture, Culture Culture, culture Ringing in my ear It’s sometimes on a day All I can hear Floating through the air On radio waves Forcing into my mind Everything it intends to say TV, movies, books even Magazines It intrudes its way in Trying to please The lower side of me But by grace, I have been allowed to see Vanity, vanity, all its vanity So I shake my head Loosen its hold Coiled around my mind Step out of the endless line Of those being controlled Selling out their very souls To a world in love With only its Self Instead loosen that self To fall in love with Someone else A greater God awaits Holding out hands To raise you up, to abate All the noise of a lost, Sad, desperate world To rejoin you to himself He paid in His own Blood! So do not let the noisy flood Of a lost culture Destroy your Joy-filled Hope Of an eternal paradise insured Thru faith in our Christ’s cross!!

Not Just Candy on the Top Shining, glorious On top That bright red Cherry Gleaming, glistening On top of whipped crème A most delicious berry Just a nice add-on Makes it more enticing Milkshake underneath Solid, frothy Coming closer to being Desired But tis an unnecessary Thing Does not decrease Or increase The shake beneath Or detract from its Power To make us wish it To devour I sometimes think Of God & Christ We have made Like that cherry That piece on top of stuff A small enhancement, Merely a small piece Of fluff In comparison to That solid milkshake Rest of our lives Are we really going to Wait until our body dies To see reality, God’s importance, Why wait until that time Of crisis? Today, make God The solid majority Of your life Desire most The Lord Of all the angelic hosts The center of your being As ephemeral you become & more fleeting!

I got to ride my bike again today on a longer ride, almost ten miles. It’s my new hobby, and I love it! I am a 2X cancer survivor, and I’m grateful God lets me enjoy the bike riding. Each day feels like a gift to still be able to enjoy life with my family & friends. May God bless your day. Praise Him for his grace and mercy!!
Also I could not resist this photo of some beautiful, massive old sycamore trees at the water’s edge. In winter without the leaves, you can see their white bark even better. Have a good day!
