When in cooking 
Is not used a whole ingredient
End products most likely
Become only incomplete
Never of your original intent 

It will look or taste bad
Or fall apart
You will have failed
Before you even start

God’s intention was
For us to give our whole self
Our Whole Heart
So to us His full, total, complete
Beauty, Glory He could impart!

To experience joy unlike
Any other
In love we would all be
Able to live 
As sisters & brothers

But if you hold back
Do not give your full self
That slice, piece to God you refuse
You are only giving satan a foothold
That fragment he will be
most certainly to use!

And you will miss
The incredible, unending gift
God wants to give 
Does not want you to live
Empty, guessing

So, unless you give one-hundred percent
You cannot receive the full blessing 
You will lose the completeness  
That which you were meant to possess
Of His Eternal, Forever Gift
Of that, any part do you want to lose?

A world in chaos
Lacking a clear direction
Things, ideas, get tossed aside
Each day, let go
Doesn’t this show
A world in confusion
Upside down?

Where Up is Down
& Down is Up
Restless words 
Tossed about on 
Distressed waves 
Of anxious noise
Peace on some days
Seems almost unheard

But someone stands
Knocking
On everyone’s heart
Longing to be allowed to impart
His Peace-filled Spirit 

Bring about a new day
Create within us a new way
To live
Trying Himself to give
To His world a new direction
Turn it Right Side Up
Where Up is truly Up
& Down is truly Down

So do not be afraid
To go against the grain
Of a lost, bewildered world
And for yourself & others gain
A better sense of how to live
Where confusion does not reign
Under this, His One Holy Name,
Christ Jesus!

Demon’s Fright
(Your Light)

With four demons around
My throat
You came in and satan’s
Hold You broke,
Lord Jesus

At Your name the darkness
Scattered
With Your Name they fled
You solved the matter,
Lord God

They ran, disappeared in
In terror
Knowing their end is near
Lost their power,
Praise You, Lord Jesus

So no longer do we need
To fear
satans’s evil power
with You so near,
King Jesus

So, thru my faith & loyalty
To you
Once again, your love
You will prove
When You, Most Gracious King,
With Your voice You will ring
In a new heaven, completely new earth
Leaving all of us reborn
An eternal, bodily new birth!
Praise You, Lord Yahweh!!!

Dear Lord,
For allowing me an orphan to be
From birth
Never quite feeling I fit in
On this green earth
So the stairways,
Those steps to heaven,
My eternal soul could win!

What an enemy purposed 
For evil
You turned into a blessing
But it did not come without
A great testing

Your Son fought ahead of me
Clearing a path so I could see
The gate of heaven of me just ahead
Just as the words spoken in your Book
Most clearly & succinctly had said!

Praise You Lord, God, King Jesus & Holy Spirit!!

The Seer

God wants you to be 
A Seer
The One who sees
Himself 
His great beauty, love
For you
With this he wishes
To imbue
Everyone 

To see, know
His only Son
His Holy Spirit
For you this is
His most precious gift
He desires to bestow
Upon every head

Seers see things 
Others cannot
Or do not wish to see
Do not let them stop
Your desire, ability
To understand, perceive
Let all as seers drop 
To our knees

From there we will be able
To appreciate the best
This world has to offer
Be given glances, looks
Into the overflowing coffers
Of God’s riches

It is His deepest wish
To share Himself
His nearness
With all of us
Along with 
Christ’s own sweet dearness

So when Christ 
Physically returns
A new, recreated earth
A recreated people
Will be yours
If for that you have yearned
And for now you choose
To be the one who grasps,
Understands, realizes, envisions 
To be that Seer!

Your New Beginning

Your New Beginning

On a cross
At the time of
Heaven’s greatest loss
Hung the world’s creator
As His own creation 
Destroyed His physical life
All heaven held its
Breath & waited
Watched as hell & satan’s
Power fell, was abated

Telling one so new to faith,
Today, you will be with 
Me in paradise!
Angels watching wept
His earthly mother cries
With ‘It is finished’ for
His last few words
His spirit left, hurled
Only an empty body curled,
Crushed from the pain
By human eyes still seen
Hanging on that wooden beam

But it was not His end
All death was spurned
New life for us He earned
With a resurrection so fresh
God’s answer to his death
For us ended with a YES
Thru our faithful lives,
As it was for His,
Your death will be your winning 
Of His newborn Paradise
Your total, complete & new beginning!
